I'm sure it happened to someone on this board- did anyone walk in on their parents? If so, how old were you and were there any lasting questions, concerns, ickiness or anything?

You have to tell us more. Not gory details, but what did your DC say/do?Originally Posted by SnuggleBuggles

I don't think I had ever seen a penis before then and it is one of the only things a remember from early childhood--I had to have been 3. I definitely remembered it, but I wasn't scarred...I am sure your child will not be, but I cringe on your behalf!
I did. But I was very sleepy. All I remember is a side view of my mom and being told very gently to go back to bed. Not traumatic at all.
So did it happen at your house? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes, twice, one I didn't even remember until I read this post and the other time I cringe whenever I think of but no scarring.
So....what happened
I never walked in on my parents, but my brother did and they installed a lock after that. One that was often locked on Saturday mornings.
Toby has interrupted us a few times but he gives ample warning as he runs down the hallway shouting MAMA DADDY WHERE ARE YOU!!!!??? (this is either late at night or early in the morning). Because of the warning, we have always had that split second to, um, make ourselves decent. So he has never seen us doing more than wrapping up in robes and sighing with exasperation.
Katie, mama to a pair of boys.
Yes, and I learned to knock before entering a room with a closed door. No, I wasn't scarred for life, embarrassed, yes, but not scarring.
