Does Ethan Allen furniture ever go on sale?

I'm eyeing a sofa from Ethan Allen, along with some other things and its adding up fast! Do they ever have good sales? Or am I destined to pay full price?

They do have sales every once in a while. I can't remember if it's a "friends and family" sort of thing or not...I think it is. I just know I get post cards in the mail periodically that I can take in for a discount. I've purchased quite a bit over the years from them so I'm assuming that's why I get them even though it's been a couple of years since my last purchase.

No. They used to have sales, but now they don't. I asked one of the designers there a couple months ago.

Ditto what she said. My whole house is EA. Years ago they did have sales....no more. I will say though that they do have sample sales on the floor merchandise from time to time....probably when they are ready to change displays. Maybe if you get friendly with one of the designers, they can give you a heads up on the next floor sale.

Interesting, I thought they did have sales. I saw advertisments for particular lines every once in a while. But in any event, I was going to say that I don't think I have ever seen an EA sale for upholstered pieces.

I haven't seen a sale in a while, but I have something better-- the EA clearance center.... it's like Crack to me.
I'm in there weekly.


Like Homegoods or Marshalls...

but with better furniture..

I'm wondering if Ethan Allen is like a franchise, with sales dependent on who owns each store (or group of stores)?

This past summer we bought a dining room set from EA and there was a really good sale at all of the stores in my local area.

It seems furniture stores time their sales around major holidays. Maybe something will come up soon for you....
