UPDATES in post 23 and 60
DD has shown STRONG preference for her right hand from about 3 months, she's now 6 months and things are still the same in that department. Our Ped has been observing her since I mentioned it at her 4 month appt. She has good muscle tone and reflexes on her left side, but for some reason she rarely uses that hand. There are no other red flags and she's hitting all her milestones as expected.
So we're seeing a Pediatric Neurologist tomorrow, and I'm really nervous. Of course I've been reading a lot on the internet in these 2 months and that is not good for one's peace of mind, I've lost a lot of sleep worrying over this. Please send any good vibes, thoughts, prayers our way. Thanks!
