Eye twitching anyone?

I am in my second trimester and my lower right eyelid has been twitching intermittently throughout the day for the past week The only times this has happened before when I was sleep deprived in grad school. I get enough sleep now and drink very little caffeine (green tea in the am).

I was wondering if anyone is having this problem?

For me it is almost always sleep deprivation or stress. And yes, it happened a ton in college and grad school, and nearly always during finals week!

I don't remember having it in pregnancy, but then again, sleep deprivation and stress can definitely be part of pregnancy.

It is always stress related for me. Happened a lot in grad school, but also with this last pregnancy which was high stress.

You may want to try taking a magnesium supplement. DS1 has gotten an eye twitch twice and within a day or two of me giving him a magnesium supplement (Natural Calm), it went away. Magnesium is great for stress as well. It's the "calming" supplement.

BTDT, I agree stress, sleep deprivation and mag. did help me.
