I've put this question up on three websites, so I am really hoping to hear from anyone who has a good DJ. He's with Bowman's music. He's got an online search/arrangement tool on his website that I'm having a lot of fun with. You can create your own song list. (Unfortunately, it doesn't let you play them all after you make the list.)
I want a DJ who will really know how to mix some classic oldies (I mean 30s and 40s oldies, not the Bee Gees). I've got an idea for mixing some really great old fashioned love and romance songs with really contemporary dance songs (like Love Shack). I want to make a playlist and find a DJ who can really feel when it is time to switch tempos.
Then I want to make CDs of our wedding songs and give them to all the guests who come when I send out 'thank you' notes.
