My Fiance and I are having the hardest time EVER finding a church to have our wedding ceremony... The church we belong to is currently operating out of office space and we are looking for a reasonably priced (we've gotten some quotes for $2K! and thought a church would be around $500), cosmetically appealing church with state-of-the-art audio/visual... :) Our reception will be in Annapolis so the closer the better but we are open. Does anyone have any leads?

I got married in Annapolis, and ran into the same problem. (We ended up getting married at the Academy.) Do you know anyone who is a member of a church in the area? Maybe a family member? Sometimes that helps.

Good luck!

I just joined this forum, so I don't know if you've already gotten married (looks like you posted this a while ago). If not and you're still looking, my fiance and I found an inter-denominational church in Bethesda. I actually found it in the yellow pages under "non-denominational churches" and then looked it up online. It's called very simply the Church in Bethesda. It used to be a Baptist church and I think it is quite nice inside. Not sure about video, but they do have an audio system. They charge $800. The minister/music is extra. We are looking at other options for that though. They have a websie http://www.churchinbethesda.org/. The girl I spoke to is named Brooke and she is very helpful. Good Luck!
