Hi - I am curious about people's experience with caterers.
When I visited a place that has an in-house caterer, I found I could probably do a plated dinner + passed hors d'ouevres at cocktail hour for 40/50 per person. They said there was no additional fee for the servers.
Now that I'm trying to get quotes for catering at an independent venue, I'm seeing about the same price per person ... but an additional fee for servers that is as much as if not more than the fee for the food!
Any thoughts? Any recommendations on a caterer who is reasonably priced as well as reasonably tasty? I'm thinking vegetarian and chicken options.
