Looking for Intimate & Inexpensive Ceremony Local Downtown

Hi! I'm looking for an intimate and inexpensive location to hold our wedding ceremony somewhere downtown or north side - someplace not outdoors and not part of the Chicago Parks District :o) We want the wedding in March, and I think it might be too chilly for an outdoor ceremony, and we have already spoken to the Park District. I realize this might be a difficult search - but somewhere out there must know of a diamond in the rough......

Hi Karin

I found a great place that is intimate and very reasonably $$. It is called "Victoria of Highwood" in Highwood,IL. On Greenbay Rd right by Highland Park. It is right off 41 at the Rt 22 exit.

The food is amazing and the owner Mario and event coordinator Joann have been giving us outstanding service. Our wedding is in Sept 2007. I haven't yet checked into these but I did attend a beautiful ceremony at one of the chapels at Northwestern University. There is also a gorgeous chapel at Lake Forest College. Good luck!
