Well, okay here's the deal... I've left them three messages and haven't received a call back. I've crossed them off my list of prospective reception sites and would suggest you all do the same.

I had the same situation. My mother knows the woman who runs the show there and said they fired the last woman who ran the weddings, not good! The food is excellent. I went to a rehersal dinner at the Mark Twain House and they work together with Max's.

My mom's friend said to leave your address and they will send you information, but I booked elseware because I don't want them firing the next person a few days before my wedding!
