I am looking for someone to help with full coordination of my wedding, but I am at a loss at where to start looking for someone who is experienced and who will not try to rip me off. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) is a good place to start.

My name is Katie James and I have just started in the business of wedding coordinating and consulting. Check out my website http://pmweddingsandevents.googlepages.com/home. I will be a member of ABC, the Association of Bridal Consultants, starting in October and am currently studying to receive a diploma in wedding consulting. My services are very competetive being as I am still learning the ropes. (Ask me about discounted rates not quoted on my website.) I could be available to you for a variety of services including total event planning (choosing, or helping you choose each and every vendor and writing contracts with them;) attending every major event for preparations including gown fittings, contract signings, taste testings, final walk throughs and the all important rehearsal. I could also help you just exclusively coordinating the day of your wedding: set up, schedule making, supervising vendors, conduct order of processional, orchestrate major events for reception, and tear down/clean up at your site. Please let me know if you are interested! pmweddingsandevents@yahoo.com
Best Wishes!

These are two I am looking at
John Connely alacartephoto.com
Stephanie Williams stephiewilliams.googlepages.com
Both seem to be pretty affordable and have no time limits
