Reviews on Lioncrest Manor (Lyons, CO)

Hello!
I am wondering if anyone has experience/reviews on Lionscrests Manor (www.lionscrestmanor.com). They have a beautiful ceremony and reception site although they are an all inclusive wedding provider which to me means 'buyer beware'. I am wondering what your experiences have been with this place? Both good and bad. Please share! Thanks so much!

My best friend was married at Lionscrest last summer. It was a wonderful facility with the indoor / outdoor location. The coordinator was very easy to work with and handled all instances without question. I'm not sure how the cost compared to other locations (as I didn't need to know being the bridesmaid). Looking back, the married couple was thrilled and wouldn't have changed it for the world. Now, that I'm looking for my own wedding...I am comparing to Lionscrest Manor. Hope that helps!

My fiance and I looked at Lionscrest, and they have both all-inclusive packages and those that aren't all-inclusive. We totally would have gone with them except that our families are all in Louisiana and coming in for the wedding. They'll probably be staying in Estes Park, so we couldn't imagine telling them that after they flew to Denver, drove to Estes Park, then they'd have to drive back down to Lionscrest for the wedding. And the lack of lodging nearby made us cross it off our list. It's too bad though - that staircase made me swoon!:bighand:

We were married there! It was fantastic. It was 2000 so things have changed somewhat - I don't think they had an all inclusive package then. We were actually one of the first weddings after they remodeled and I have to say it was beautiful. We really wanted an outdoor wedding but once we saw the remodel we were torn inside or outside. We ended up with both (started outside, and then when the storms came in we moved inside - about half way through the ceremony). Then the storm passed and we got the most beautiful sunset pictures. Perfection. Anyway, I don't remember prices and what not but I do know we got everything cheaper because we got married on a Monday. I can look up what we paid if you want. Let me know. If you want any other info let me know. It was wonderful- best wedding ever and I'm not the only one who says so! HTH.
