Any suggestions where to look for bargains on wedding day make-up artists? Most of the make-up people around town charge at least $50.

Try one of the cosmetic counters at your local department store. You would want to do a test run of course, some of the consultants have a heavy hand.

Try calling a local Mary Kay consultant. They are usually really nice and although you have to actually apply the make-up yourself it is all supplied and she will show you how to do it. In addition, she will probably do a dry run with you and maybe even your bridesmaides in advance. Good Luck!

Why don't you have a family member do your makeup this will save time and money.

I can help you out no problem! What state do you live in?? I'm sure I can set you up to have a make up artist do your wedding make up for free or if no one is available, I have some other resources for you. Email me at inherowndominion@aol.com and I'm sure I can help you out!

Clinique (and other cosmetic counters in your department store) will do your wedding day makeup for you for free. Be sure to call in advance to arrange it and allow plenty of time, especially if you want your whole bridal party included. Let them know ahead of time if they are to apply makeup to your whole bridal party (and tell them how big your bridal party is) so that that they schedule enough staff on your wedding day!
Cheers,

My Mary Kay rep told me she'd do my bridal party for $10 a face. Sounds like a deal to me!
