We are going to Greece for our honeymoon. We don't know where precisely; we'd like to start/end in Athens and spend some time sightseeing around Athens and also some time visiting an island or two.
Unfortunately, now that we've moved to America, I only have 12 days holiday per year.. taking two off for the wedding itself, that leaves 10 days for the honeymoon (if I don't want any time off for the rest of the year!!). So we are thinking to try to get the most out of our holiday time, to leave on a Friday night and come back a week Wednesday or something - only taking 7 or so days off work.
However this is a very long flight/large time difference for such a short trip (we live near Seattle now). Has anyone else done Greece for a shorter honeymoon? Where did you go? How long were you there? Any advice??
