My husband and I never took a honeymoon when we got married two years ago and have decided we finally will next summer. However, we recently purchased a new home and don't want to spend a fortune on a one time trip. The other factor is I'm not crazy about flying - an hour or two on a plane is about all I can handle. So a far away destination is out of the question. We were considering Maine but don't know much about the area. Has anyone been there for a honeymoon? How about other destinations in the Northeast during the summer? Beaches?
