I don't want to mislead anyone who might be thinking I'm trying to sell supplies to users on this message board, but I'm wondering if anyone has had luck selling some of the leftover items from their wedding afterwards.
Is eBay the best route to go? Or is there a similar auction site or resale website for wedding items specifically?
I have artificial flowers, vases, bolts of tulle, lighting, and a few other accessories that are in near-perfect condition that I'd like to sell online.
Any ideas?

Might be better than Ebay.

As a buyer or items I perfer to buy from the free classifieds www.craigslist.com . You post your items in your local or cummutable area. I like it better becaue I can go see the item myself and know the quality, condition, etc. You meet the seller in person. You don't have to pay the added postage and packaging costs. The site has grown a lot but is much more active in some areas then others, usually very popular in areas where there are a lot of colleges and 20 and 30something at high tech jobs. It is like putting an ad in the want ad or local newspaper without the fee. The only downside is that you don't get the same amount of people looking at your ad as you would with ebay.
Don't forget local bullition boards, perhaps even ones at churches. That would be a great place for new brides to find things. You may even want to network with the church you are having your wedding at. IF they do a lot of weddings and don't ave a bullition board maybe you could start a binder of wedding items for reasle or rent and ask them to make it available to other brides. They could also put in their own items as well. Just a thought!
