Hi all! I wanted to share my eBay experience....because it has been fabulous thus far!
First, I ordered my gown from the eBay store Buy Direct Bridals...It is gorgeous and came a full 6 weeks before I expected it! Total time, less than 8 weeks from order date. And the price is great - less than 50% of retail! So I highly recommend them...
Secondly, I purchased a veil from eBay seller Bridesunveiled, for all of 7.99 for a 1 tier fingertip veil edged with Satin cord...it is very pretty and Hand made rather than mass produced, which is always a plus in my book! And it only took a few days to receive, so again a great deal from a great seller....Definitely look into them! They have numerous different styles available...
Finally, I purchased my and my flower girl's tiaras from eBay seller gift4boy. Mine was $8.99 and hers was $3.99. Both are made well and beautifully, again obviously by hand. And they're both very very pretty, and heavier than I expected. He was great to do business with, also.....so thanks to eBay my headpiece was under $20 (not including shipping)...compared to the hundreds they expect you to pay at Bridal shops...and I can feel good about soliciting creative people rather than lining the pockets of the vipers in the boutiques!
So there you have it ---- all three vendors come with high recommendations from a fellow frugal bride fed up with the wedding market...I hope you can all benefit from my experience!!!
