Knock-offs?

Anyone know of sites with either- well discounted Maggie Sottero dresses....or quality knock-offs?

We had two daughters marry...One May, 2003, one May 2004...both wore Maggie Sottero gowns. First daughter bought her Maggie Sottero "Sarchi" gown through a Discount Bridal Service Dealer (paid $650)....she saved 40 percent off the cost of the gown over the price at a local full fledged bridal store. Second daughter ordered her Maggie gown "Stella" through Pearl's Place (she paid $425). She paid 50% less than the local bridal store had the gown priced. We were extremely happy with both. DBS dealer put the gown in a bridal bag, and Pearl's simply sent it in a small box, but it was well packaged, though wrinkled. Both had alterations and steam pressing done locally. Both girls are pictured in their gowns on the Maggie Sottero Brides site at www.maggiesottero.com under photo number 760 (Stella gown) and photo number 2070 (Sarchi gown).


We also found that RK Bridal in New York had the best prices on bridesmaids dresses. They advertise that they will beat any quote by 5% more. We had a quote from Pearls, emailed it to them and RK gave us the better deal. Hope this helps.

You may want to look into Best Bridal Prices. I hadn't heard much about them when I was looking into buying my dress... but I went with them anyway! They were reasonable, and even had a special offer when you buy a Maggie dress (free veil & shoes, and free shipping!!!!) I think the promotion is still going on. The time frame to receive the dress is great, and they are always accessible via email or phone!
