DC area bands

I highly recommend Bialek's Music (headquarters in MD) if you're looking for a band. Ray Bialek was really helpful, and worked with our special requests.

I do not recommend East Coast Entertainment. We were interested in a couple of their bands, and I asked my sales rep repeatedly to set up a time where we could hear the bands live, but she never got back to me. Then, over a month later, I got an email from her, asking me if I needed anything. Considering that she never got back to me about seeing the bands live, and obviously had not even bothered to open up my file to see where we were in the band-shopping process before emailing me, I figured she did not deserve my money.

I read your post and was really interested in what you had to say. We are currently looking for a band and would really like to hear references. I am hoping you could answer some questions:

Does this band have a website?

From your post, I supposed you where able to see them perform before you hired them?

How big is the band? We are looking for 6-8 pieces.

What types of music do they play? I am looking for a band that can play a wide variety of music.
