Hi,
Everyone is so helpful here, it is so lovely. I am in the San Fernando Valley area of L.A. and am looking for a good, inexpensive wedding cake source. Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks so much!

I am ordering my cake from Van Bakery. It is an Asian family owned bakery and cakes are $1/person. BUT due to the fact that I am only having cake and toast reception (to save $$), I am ordering one of the largest cake that includes 19 cakes, fountain, and bridges to form a heart shape for $500. I asked around at other bakeries and I was quoted $500 for just a 3 tier cake! On top of that, they could not even replicate the heart shape I want.
The bakery I am going to is located in Orange County but I found the following listing on the internet:
Van Bakery
5409 W Sunset Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90027-5613
Phone: (323)466-2450
Van Bakery
620 S Glendale Ave # 8
Glendale, CA 91205-2331
Phone: (818)548-5253
It's best for you to go in and look at pictures because there is a language barrier for over the phone transactions.
