although I live in Brooklyn, we wanted to celebrate our African-Caribbean heritage by the sea. We're holding our wedding in Duxbury, Mass, and are building a tent on the wedding site for the reception.
We'd like to have colored plates and fabrics in rich jewel-tones (think Morrocco). it seems like the caterers that do African/Caribbean cuisine don't do colored dishes. I'm also looking for gold colored chargers or gold placemats. any ideas?
I'm thinking it may be a good idea to trade with other brides decorations/plates/etc. that are in good condition. I am getting married on August 24, 2002.
Also, any ideas where to rent inexpensive chairs in wood or bamboo?
