Hi everybody! I am writing because I recently went invitation shopping and found that they have the same exact books of invitations at card and party outlet stores as they do at fancier stationary stores and for 30% off! I was wondering if anyone else has used a card and party outlet store and what they thought of the customer service, etc. Thanks!

Yikes....be sure that the "salesgirls" have had training in invitation etiquette and wording.
Also, check with them and see how much you are paying in shipping charges and sales tax. It may eat into that 30% discount .
To receive a 25% discount....FREE shipping and no sales tax...(if outside the state of Ohio) you can order on line at
www.quaintweddingstationery.com
All the major print catalogs are on line.

Although I do agree with Penny from quaint weddings, I also tell my clients, that when they do compare, get ALL costs upfront. Our shipping is NOT inflated. Our discount is 40% off TRUE Carlson Craft retail prices.
Some of the party stores have their own books printed, and elevate their pricingm, then they offer a discount that sounds great, but is really not. Deceptive practices, perhaps, but the buyer MUST beware.
I have had brides (in our 17 yrs of experience) come to us with pricing from tuxedo shops that offer 50% off their prices, only to find that their prices are inflated past what Carslon Craft's normal selling retail prices are. This is not true of all companies, or tuxedo shops, but the brides need to know that these practices are out there.
Good luck to you. Be cautious. And if you are unsure of a company, check with the actual printing company themselves, and see if they are reputable. But ALWAYS compare your RETAIL prices, first. Don't just follow the discounts! Get the bottom line!! And GET IT IN WRITING!!!
