We are trying to make our own wedding maps to go with our invitations. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make your own? Is there a free software program you can use? Please help...we have to send our invitations soon. Thanks.

Check with your wedding/reception site first to see if they have a map and/or directions. For my daughter's wedding we didn't do a map, just really good directions from the two directions that people would be coming from-it worked perfectly. For the other daughter's wedding, I was all set to draw a map, but the venue has a great map and directions that we can work from.

Look at these websites for inspiration:

If you are trying to get everyone from the ceremony to the reception hall, I would first look up the directions on Mapquest (or MapPoint), and then copy/paste the results to your word processing program. And if that does not work, try discussing the directions with either your wedding planner or ceremony/reception hall contacts.

Good luck!
