I ordered my invitations from Ashton invitations. I wanted to share my experience. Overall, I wasn't entirely happy, but I'll start with the good: They were inexpensive, less than $1 per invite. They also have a very pretty tulip design, which is why I chose them, as my theme is tulips. My total order with thank-yous and informal cards came to $350. The paper was nice heavy card stock with raised printing.
Now, here's the part I didn't like: They charge $3 - $7 per item to proof it for you. To me, that service should be included. Also, be careful to read the descriptions on the web site since it is easy to pick the wrong color of the invite you wanted. The customer service rep, Christy, is not very pleasant on the phone. She "handled" me and my requests, but did the bare minimum and did it in such a way that I got the feeling she hates her job. It is also hard to get ahold of her or anyone else on the phone. I get the feeling there are only 1 or 2 people working there. Also, the envelopes came all smudged. I am currently waiting to see how they are going to deal with my envelope issue - they had better send me new ones! I hope next time I can write and say they fixed the problem, but I doubt that will be the case.
