The Bridal Bargains Book was so helpful to me planning my wedding I thought I'd share some feedback. We had a HORRIBLE experience with Checkerboard invitations -- apparently, they don't have quality control people. We had our invitations re-done three times and they still could not give us a batch where the ink was uniformly black and crisp -- they ranged from mottled gray to a handful that looked ok. (And I'm not talking about having to squint and see the difference, I'm talking about holding them next to each other and them looking like completely different invitations. My husband said it looked like "they had run out of toner"...) The embossing was also really uneven; the border around our invites kind of disappeared in some places. Oh -- and our first set of reply cards were printed crooked!
Ultimately, the store just gave them to us for free and we just used the least offensive ones, but it occurred to me this would be a good place to spread the word....
