I found the best deal on invitations, if you are willing to print them yourself.
The Paper Zone sells boxes of invitations with inner and outer envelopes. Most boxes contain 50 invitations and cost $20 - $25. The invitations are by Artco and are the same styles as seen in just about every catalog/website - not old or outdated or tacky or ugly. There are also smaller cards to match most invitation styles, which can be used for RSVP, Thank Yous, etc.
If you go in the store, they have more styles to choose from. They also let you take free paper samples so you can find out if the paper is compatible with your printer.
