There is a terrific site called thebusybride.com. She sells the same invites you find in the stationary stores (NuArt, Carlson Craft, Regency) for up to 35% off. (The more you order, the larger the discount). She also carries accessories. There is no sales tax if you live outside Washington State.
She has on-line catalogs, and a nifty on-line quote page, where you enter the invite you want, the qty, any extras (lined envelopes, return address printed on envelopes, etc.), and you can see an approximate quote on line. She also provides approximate shipping costs, on-line proofs, and she guarantees that if the invites come in different from your approved proof, they will reprint and expedite the order to you free of charge! She will send up to two samples free of charge. These are mailed, so they can take up to two weeks (she's located in Washington state).
I'm in New York City. I faxed my proof in to her Friday afternoon, July 27th. I had finished invites in my hands Monday, August 6. A week and a day to print, pack and ship. If I'd sent my order in by Thursday evening, I would have had the invites by Friday, August 3rd!
