I have always used the net to surf for information and have never posted information, but since I found your site so useful I figured I'd donate a little suggestion... As many people do, I requested many invitation samples from various invitation catalogs. I found myself with a huge amount of samples of cards that were 3.5" x 5" - the perfect size for thank you cards. I used these cards with my own envelopes (I had some extra card size envelopes, but you'd even be able to go to a dollar store to buy some) as my thank you cards since they were always of decent card stock and many of them had embossed decorations - this saved me about $30, which is not a huge amount, but why pay it if you can save it? The only thing is that naturally all of the cards are not exactly the same, but, who cares? This is for the thank you card, not the wedding invitation, and I doubt that it would ever be discovered....
