Hi. I want a unique 1920s type bldg in OC california to hold my wedding and/or reception in May 2004. Is this an impossible quest? I'm in AZ so it's even doubly hard. If anyone has any info to share, I'd be totally grateful. :D

Mainly in central orange county. But I can be flexible.

that's out of my area, so I hope it's not too silly to recommend herecomestheguide.com which I know has a Southern CA edition as well.

A few suggestions for you: First, there are a couple of venues within the historic Balboa Park in San Diego that are open for weddings. Also try the Discovery Museum and the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. There is also the Muckenthaller Cultural Center in Fullerton. Also check on the Orange County website for historic buildings maintained by the County or State.
Hope this helps.

Thanks so much! I will check them out. I have a very weird question though, how is tax and service charge applied. I don't think service charge should be taxed, but at one place, that's how they broke it down. Does anyone know???

You might want to try www.cwpc.net, some of there places look around that time period. Also check out Southern California Modern Bride Magazine if you can, they may be online im not sure but there are several 20's type buildings listed in that magazine, hope this helps.
