Hi! I saw your message and I am starting to look for my dress right now & I have seen numerous Pronovias dresses that I love. Do you have any tips on where to find great prices? I would buy over the web once I find the right dress - I love Laurel, Salvora, Munich, and Panter. I can't really find out the style numbers - only the style names. WHat style did you get and what did you pay & where did you get it?
THanks!!!

I tried on the dress in a shop in Raleigh, but ordered it from Pearlsplace.com. I know of two other of my friends that bought Pronovias dresses through Pearls Place with much money saved. The dress shop had it listed just at the retail price (confirmed by Pearls Place and BridalGown web site).

Most of the dresses go by names, not numbers. My dress is Mali, I bought it without the jacket. 100% silk shantung, strapless, no beads or lace. Retail is around $1160, paid somewhere around $850. Beware, many stores that I've found really mark up Pronovias dresses. In fact, the store in Raleigh was the only one that didn't in my search. The quality is so high they can get away with it. My sister-in-law to be found a Pronovias Dreams colection dress that was listed at $1200, and found out the retail was around $600, and only paid in the high $400s for it from Pearls Place. All the prices and style names are listed at the bridal bargins web site. Good luck.

I have begun my dress shopping online and all of the dresses I am interested in are Pronovias - such elegant beautiful lines.

I was disappointed to see that this Pearl Space nolonger carries the designer - I submitted the "Moscatel" design to BridalQuote and only received two responses...one did not carry the line, the other offered the Moscatel dress for $860.

Are there any other good online discount stores which carry teh Pronovias line?

Hi there. Let us clarify the situation with Pronovias and Pearl's. We erroneously posted earlier that Pearl's has stopped taking orders for Pronovias. The current situation: Pearl's will continue selling this brand up until the Spring 2001 season---so if you want a CURRENT Pronovias gown, Pearl's can get it. We're not sure if they will be able to source Pronovias after that time---stay tuned and we'll post updates here.

Hope that helps,

Hi,

I just bought the Munich gown by Pronovias. I agree with everyone -- they are gorgeous gowns and the quality seems impeccable! I bought mine at a bridal salon in Charlotte, NC and paid about $780 for it. If you want to buy online I have a friend who used DBS to buy her Pronovias gown (the Laurel style) and paid around $740 for it. Hope this helps!

What shops in Raleigh and/or Charlotte did you find your Pronovias gowns? I'm looking for Macao, and can't seem to find it. I'm in Winston, so it's easy to travel to Raleigh, Charlotte or Chapel Hill.

Thanks!

Hi.

I found my Pronovias dress at Mecklenburg Bridal Gallery in Charlotte. The woman I worked with was named Shirley Stephens and she was wonderful. The only problem with the salon is that they do not have a lot of Pronovias samples because it's such hard dress to find in the Carolinas they ended up selling many of them. You might want to call and ask if they have your style. The number is: 704-365-0877. Good luck!

Have you checked the Pronovias website for their list of authorized retailers yet? It's not up to date -- I called three people on their list who no longer carried their line -- but it'll give you some other places to call and see.

Good luck and, of course, congratulations on your wedding!

The shop I found my dress was Victoria Rose in Raleigh. They are really great there, have great discounts on floor stock, and the prices on the current gowns are right at retail. So many other stores priced Pronovias gowns way above retail because they are less expensive than some of the other similar quality dresses. Service is great!

How did you manage to find the dress you wanted? I'm horribly confused by the Pronovias site! It's beautiful, but the US and Canada sites have different dresses pictured than the UK and ESP sites. The ones I like the best aren't pictured on the US site, however, e-mail from Pronovias says that the same dresses are available everywhere.

Also, does anyone know where the website for St. Patrick is located? It's a Pronovias division, according to info on bridalgown.com.

Thanks!

Hi all!

I am trying to find my Pronovias gown. It is part of the 2002 collection. The style name is Abilene. Does anyone know any more on the status of Pearl's place?
