I ordered the A to ZZZ bedding set a few months ago and my baby furniture just came in. I washed the bedding and went to put the bumper on and I have a sleigh crib and the ties are too short on the bumper. I called Land of Nod- no returns if it's been washed. I am pretty upset to say the least.

The bumper ties do tie around but not tight enuf for my liking, I feel they should be longer. Also I do not know how to sew if anyone suggests I make new ties - LOL!

Does anyone else have a sleigh crib and have bedding from Land of Nod? Maybe am doing something wrong? Who makes bumpers that fit sleigh cribs -if I can't return maybe I can get a bumper somewhere else - although doubt I can find a matching one.

I painted the room and did all my decor to match this set so you can imagine how upset I am.

Thanks,
Lauren

Why not find some coordinating ribbon and bring it to an alterations place to have them replace the ties? Or use some fabric and have them make the ties. I think that would be a good solution, if you still like the bedding. Or, you can sell it on ebay but you won't get all your $$ back that way.

actually I got it to work. I tied it between the slats even though it's a tight fit I got it in there and just double knotted it - no bows (not sure how to tie a bumper) but it's nice and tight so worked out. Am glad cause I just ordered the matching curtains for my set and with 5 weeks to go didn't want to deal with new bedding and losing out on this one. Thanks for the help though.

Call back and ask for a manager. You have been given bad customer service advice and I bet you get a different answer with another rep or a manager.

Hi,
I did that actually as the bumper still didn't work (I thought it was) and returned the entire set. I just called and said it didn't work and they were very nice about it. I went to Pottery Barn and got a bumper/crib skirt/curtains there that also match what I have done to the room - funny thing is this new set looks better!

Thanks for the advice - I was a little suprised at the customer service but it worked out!

I would call back to Land of Nod and get better service....but, I always thought ties on bumpers should not be bow-tied but knotted. And I think the ties can only be so long due to stranglation problems. I can see where the shorter ties would be a problem if you crib bars are thick.....hmmmmm.....maybe a alteration place could make you some new ones a little longer???
