A Few Minor Issues...Otherwise a Great Stroller!, September 30, 2008

Pros: HUGE canopies, fully-reclining, comfortably-padded &wide seats, extras aren't additional cost
Cons: Average basket accessibility, large fold, a bit wide

We received this as a shower gift from my brother. We seriously looked at the Valco Twin Trimode, BOB 12' Duallie Revo and BJCS Mini before settling on the 08 Zooper Tango. The best parts of this stroller are the huge canopies and the wide seats. We were also able to use this early on for our infant twins thanks to the infant setup. The pockets in the hood are great as are the zippered mesh vents & dropdown canopy. It is easy to steer but I have to say that going over a large rut or bump is a little difficult with the smaller tires.

I really don't have a lot of cons on the Zooper. I do wish that the entire set-up was raised higher off the ground (like Bebecar). This would enable better accessibility to the actually large basket. Making it zipped from the front sides would be a great addition so that if seats are in the full recline, it can be accessed from the front (it's virtually impossible to access from behind when seats are in recline).

While I like the one-piece handle, it would have been nice to have one with adjustable height. The wheels don't seem to be as robust as I would have expected but I haven't had to replace them yet so I'll be interested to see how long they last.

It is wider & heavier but I knew that going in because it IS a double and because I did want the wider seats and something that wasn't flimsy.

For the price, I think it's a great value especially when you consider the ability for it to have the full recline & safety netting for infants, and that the "extras" (boot, sun shield & rain cover) are not an additional price.

Pros: Lots of super features, kids able to lie flat, it does have an adjustable footrest
Cons: a bit hard to secure infant seat, basket could be stronger

This stroller essentially fold flat so you do need lots of room to store it. However, we own a Toyota Camry and a Nissan Pathfinder, the stroller fits into both vehicles. My daughter is 29 pounds and almost 3 years old, she fit into this stroller great. Some other double strollers we looked at she looked too big to be riding in. Again, the basket underneath could be stronger and easier to access. Overall, great stroller

Pros: Its attractive and sturdy.
Cons: A bit wide for lots of indoor use.

I received this stroller as a gift when pregnant with my twins and have been using it a few months.

Pros. Its very attractive and sturdy. Its easy to steer, pushes like a dream and seems as though it will stand up to a lot of punishment. I like that it came with headrests, bootcover and rain cover. I like that its a bench seat but I can forsee problems with the children being able to push and pull at each ohter maybe just a little too easily. The fabric is nice and cleans up easily and the stroller seat and back are nicely padded. Although its a bit heavy I really haven't found it a problem to lift it into my minivan...oh yeah you probably need a big trunk 'cause its large even folded.

Cons. The stroller is just a teensy bit too wide to comfortably go in and out of doors. It does go through doors but its always a struggle to line it up exactly right. Also I've had problems with it not opening fully after being stored for a period of time. Initially the one wheel didn't touch the ground, Zooper CS instructed me to place a weight on the corner to stretch the stroller to its fully open position. This did work after a few days but I don't think I should have had this problem in the first place.

Don't think I'll find a non-all-terrain double I like better, June 10, 2005

Pros: Handles very well, looks sharp, large canopy
Cons: Very heavy!!

The Zooper Tango has a lot of features I love; easy to handle with different sized kiddos, full-recline with easy to use mechanism, automatic locking mechanism, narrow enough (30 inches) for standard doorways. I've used it in malls and downtown shopping areas without any problems.

If I could make 2 changes, I would make the canopy easier to manage when a seat is fully reclined and I would make the basket a little more user-friendly (part of the frame limits the accessibility and ability to carry taller items).

One con I've heard from others is the lack of a divider between the seats. I don't mind this because it gives my toddler more room. I'm sure I would think differently, however, if I had a more rambunctious toddler or children closer in age.

I have decided that I can live with its weight (30+ lbs) since I like it otherwise. It stands upright when folded, so I find it easy to lift it into my SUV and wheel it into place.

As far as other non-AT doubles, I think its sturdier than the Combi Twin Savvy, handles better than the Peg Perego Aria Twin and has wider seating than the Maclarens.

All in all, I like this stroller a lot and it is working well for us.

Pros: Sturdy, comfortable for baby and toddler. Attractive too!
Cons: Wish it had adjustable leg rest

After eyeing this stroller for so months and not finding much info, I wanted to let others know how much I love my Tango! I use it with my 21 month old and my 1 month old (used it since he was 1 week old). It steers like a dream and the ride is really smooth regardless of the surface. We've had it at the mall, the zoo and the playground (over grass and wood chips) and there were no problems. The seats are very plush and comfy with a full (completely flat) recline for both seats. The basket is big and roomy and there is a huge pocket on the back of the hood for extra storage. I was nervous about getting through doorways, but I have yet to meet a doorway that gave me trouble. I bought it at a small local baby shop with standard doors and tested it in the door before leaving the store, there was no problem at all. I've since used it in doors at the mall, the cleaners and the pediatrician's office and never had an issue. Things I love: Plush fabric, easily wipes away spills, great handlebar height. Plenty of room for both kids, lots of extra's for the price, big wheels that can handle outdoor terrain (they are plastic though, so it's not a true all-terrain) but it works for walks on just about any surface. Very easy to fold, folds flat, stands alone and decent weight for a double.

Things I wish I could change: No adjustable leg rest, but this is not a big issue for me since DD likes to ride with her legs over the napper bar. The harness. There's nothing wrong with it, it's that I've been spoiled by the floating harness on my P3 which I love, but since only Pegs have this I have to deal with the regular kind. It is big when folded, so it's not something for small cars, but fits great in the back of my mini-van. I put it on it's side and I can still get some groceries in.
