Pros:
Easy to push, sunshade, full recline, plush, great price.
Cons:
Mine doesn't always stay closed.
|
|
After doing a lot of research, I decided the waltz was the stroller for us and I am not disappointed. It is easy to open, push, very plush, we never have a problem with kicking the wheels, and it comes with all the accessories (the sun shade is fabulous!!). My DD loves to ride in it and I highly recommend the waltz. However, I do wish the basket was easier to put things in, and that mine stayed closed better. It is definitely worth a test drive and serious consideration.

Pros:
Ease of use, comfortable, lightweight yet sturdy
Cons:
Not really any cons that I know. We love this stroller!
|
|
We absolutely are in love with this stroller. They have really improved the quality as well as the functionability of their strollers. We bought our first Zooper about 2 1/2 years ago and the open/close function was HORRIBLE. Now it's a piece of cake! Their customer service is the best. While traveling we lost one of the wheels on our Waltz and we called CS and they sent a new one out immediately, free of charge. Our daughter is so comfy and cozy that she falls asleep on our walks now! We are pleased with the color, the materials used and best of all, we love the five point harness that keeps our daughter safe!

Pros:
Lots of goodies for the price
Cons:
Durability/ Folding Mechanism
|
|
I paid just under $200 for the 06 model about a year ago. I have used the stroller in a varierty of settings. The stroller performs best in Target, the grocery store, and malls. Although even those settings, the front wheels will turn and then the stroller becomes hard to push because there is a delay in the wheels returning the to straight forward position. I like that you get the extras included included like the rain cover and the boot. The folding on this stroller is I think very hard with a 20lb baby on your hip. I can rarely do it with two-hands. After about six months the locking mechanism failed. I need to call Zooper about that. The stroller will no longer lock in position. The harness never adjusted tight enough around my son when he was betten about 3 and 9 months. Even at its tightest my son was too small. My son isn't even small for his age. He is always around the 55 % percentile.I have also taken this stroller on walks in the neighborhood and the broken sidewalks were not kind to it. It would get stuck. The front wheels would turn in funny directions. Thus, I have found this stroller to be an average stroller for running errands and strolling over smooth surfaces. When you throw in the goodies it becomes slightly above average. There is no child tray or parent tray. Which may be a problem. The recline is extremely easy. It works with one hand and I have never had a problem with it. All in all. If you can afford a MacClaren or a Zippy you should buy one. If not, then the waltz is a fine choice. It isn't the best out there but it give you relatively good value for the money. If I had to do it over, I would have opted for a more expensive stroller. Some things you shouldn't skimp on and I believe strollers are on of them. Especially, if will be thrown in and out of an SUV/minivan.

Pros:
Sturdy, reasonable price, great accessories, basket size
Cons:
Harness straps, sometimes won't lock in place when unfolded
|
|
I paid $169 for the 2005 model, and we've been using this stroller nearly every day for 7 months. This would go for any city, but we live in Baltimore, where the asphalt and sidewalks are really uneven, and the Waltz has been a real trooper. My daughter has been comfortable in it from her first ride when she was 5 months old (we never used this with her infant seat). I have been especially grateful for how well it's held up because until recently, my daughter and I were without our own car for 5 months. We have been out so often in the Waltz, and many times I've made trips to the store and filled the basket full of groceries to take home. Never a problem! I've taken it on buses and subways, too, and though it doesn't fold like an umbrella, I liked that it folds flat and can stand upright on its own.It maneuvers really well - usually I can steer it one-handed through doorways without a problem. I've used the rain cover and winter boot many times and love that these are included when you buy the stroller. I have yet to use the sun shade, but the others are easy to strap/zip on, so I'm sure the shade won't be a problem when we use it. There's a window in the top of the canopy that's great for checking on her when she's about to nod off, and then the one-hand recline is great for when she's finally sleeping! It's true, there's no cup holder. And it's not a one-hand fold. But I realized after much research that there's often not one stroller that will fill every requirement. The Waltz's pluses have far outweighed the picky "if only's" on my original wish list.I agree with one of the other reviewers, that I've been surprised at how loose the harness straps are. Also, when I unfold the stroller, sometimes the whole frame doesn't click together on its own - I have to double-check to be sure. But I've never worried for my daughter's safety, so I'm fine with these little nuisances. One more plus: Zooper's customer service is awesome!

Pros:
Canopy, Steering, Basket access, Lightweight, Price
Cons:
Two-handed fold
|
|
We got this stroller (2006 version) on sale at littlefolks.com for $149 with free shipping. We live in south Florida, so the canopy was a very important feature for us. The coverage of the canopy is excellent, and the included sun shade gives extra UV protection. Also included are a rain cover and boot for cold weather which will be useful when we travel during winter months. The canopy also strips down in the back to a mesh which allows a nice breeze to get to the baby. I agree with the other reviews that the harness is a bit loose for a smaller baby (15lb) in the upright position but fine when reclining. The steering is excellent, and although the height is not adjustable, the handle is a comfortable height for both me and my husband (5'9" and 6'0). After a few practice runs, the fold and open mechanism was very simple even though it does take 2 hands. Last but not least, the basket is super-accessible--mo re so than any other stroller we looked at. All in all a top of the line stroller for a bargain price!
