Just get the Buggster! This stroller is great...i just received mine...ordered it online from kiwi kids - sight UNSEEN! After researching strollers for literally 4 months, I decided to pull the trigger and get the Buggster! Mind you, this was the only stroller I HADN'T actually seen in person, but it just sounded perfect for me!
I struggled so long because I refuse to have 5 different strollers for every different occasion, plus, my budget doesn't afford for that luxury! My husband actually told me to buy it and "move on"!The Buggster has a great ride...smooth even over cracks in the sidewalk - and turns fantastically. I live in Boston and love taking walks, but also wanted something lightweight that I could fold up, lift easily and put in my trunk for shopping excursions. My 8 mo old girl is smiley and appears comfy-cozy in the seat! The cushioning is awesome and the recline is super easy. My babe is tall - well, her legs are long. The seat of the Buggster is roomy and deep...not shallow and claustrophobic looking like on some umbrella strollers. She has room to grow into the Buggster. We hope we'll use it forever! and she won't look like her feet are dragging on the ground like it seems with many umbrella strollers!I was thinking about buying the Mac Quest, but my husband HATED the Macs tiny wheels, the Macs "tippy" factor and the seat on the Mac seems much lower to the ground. The Buggsters wheels are much more substantial and "cushy" (though of course not like a jog stroller!). Plus, for not much $$ more, the Buggster has so much more to offer. I also entertained the thought of the Quinny Zapp, but there's no recline, the seat is narrower, and it's a bit heavier. Plus, everyone is rushing out to get the Zapp so smartly, Quinny upped the price, and you don't get ANY of the add-ons like you do w/the Buggster. Love the Buggsters lg. basket underneath, the fact that you also get a rain cover, UV protector that zips into the hood, and a boot. Again, other manuf. just don't include those. Also, the seat zips out for washing and the sun visor is huge...you just don't find a visor that big on a light stroller.Wish the handles were a bit taller...I am 5'7" and just wish there was another inch or so on the Buggster's handle height, and, I'm not a stroller folding pro, but the fold is a bit more complex than something like the Volo, but again, the tradeoff is worth it.I apologize to any reader - I know my feedback seems all over the board, but this stroller is great and perfect for anyone like me who really isn't a jogger, not so much a mall walker, but wants one stroller that can handle city sidewalks as well as a "mall" stroller that doesn't have the tippiness most umbrella strollers have.PLUS, if you want something different than the 'standard' Mac, this is it! Like the other reviewer, I would recommend this to anyone. This one is cool! GET IT!

Pros:
smooth ride, easy to maneuver, looks snazzy
Cons:
bigger than I had hoped, pinching fingers in the hinges when folding
|

Our whole family loves our magical rolling space egg. The three-wheel design makes it much easier to turn and direct, even with one hand. Mini-Me looks so comfortable in it. My husband doesn't like that he can't see her when he is using the Buggster; his preference is to have her in the Snap-n-Go or to remove the sunshade entirely. It barely fits in my trunk when folded - I thought it would fold more compactly and now I have an old hand-me-down Peg for car trips and airplane. Since I'm not a jogger but I do walk everywhere (and live at the top of a steep hill) I love the Buggster for neighborhood walks to get errands done and so on.We, unfortunately, got one that had a problem with one of the hinges on the side of the frame - it wouldn't lock open, so when we unfolded the stroller it would start to collapse. This problem started the first day I took it out, and got worse and worse until I did a warranty return two weeks later. The customer service rep I spoke to was very nice and helpful, but she didn't get back to me promptly so I had to initiate every contact with her, whether it was by email or phone. After trying to do a fix with her direction over the phone, I finally ended up having to send the stroller back to their warehouse across the country for repairs. The retailer where I bought the stroller didn't have any in stock, so I couldn't do an exchange. He assured me that they would just send me a new one to minimize the turn-around time, but after a phone call today I learned that the frame of the stroller was replaced (which took a week) and it will be sent out today or Monday. After it gets shipped back across the country, I should finally have a working stroller six weeks after I bought it. I hope.I think the disappointment over getting a lemon would not have been that great if I hadn't loved this stroller so much in the first place, though! Just keep your box and packing materials and receipts.

Pros:
pushes and manuevers well, relatively lightweight,
Cons:
tight break, fold takes practice, harness is NOT intuitive
|
|
Price paid: $295I've been using this stroller for about 3 months. I keep in in the trunk of the car, and have used it mostly on smooth sidewalks. Considering that it's not designed to be an all-terrain stroller, it handles pretty well on rough sidewalks, grass, gravel, etc. It's narrow and manuevers easily in small spaces. The fold is definetly not "one-step" or "one handed." but it's easy enough for me to fold it up and take the stroller on public transportation with my son (the carrying strap is great!). The locking clips are helpful when carrying it, but they also took some practice to learn how to use properly (the hood has to be all the way back!)-Like another reviewer, I also find the brake to be kind of a pain-- it's very "tight.," and I imagine that it would be difficult to do with sandals on. My biggest beef with the stroller is that the harness clips on this stroller are an unusual design, and while not difficult to master, it's been more than one occasion where another stroller pusher (ie- my husband or mother) couldn't figure out how to do it and had to come get me. Despite these design flaws (that harness!), I do think that the buggster is a well-made all purpose stroller. It's relatively lightweight (especially considering it pushes great compared to other strollers of similar weight), and has a relatively small footprint/fold. If I didn't need an all-terrain stroller for fast walking and lousy sidewalks, the buggster could probably be my "one and only."

Pros:
Great for travelling, great for walking and jogging.
Cons:
Absolutely nothing
|
|
This stroller had me within the first day of purchase and I've been in love with it ever since. It's great for travelling. Folds compactly and easily. It's very light to carry folded, and a trick I found is that I can even shlep it to the car while it's folded and it's no hassle whatsoever. Great plus when you're lugging a baby in your arm. You can pop out the front wheel for really small spaces, or to put in between seats in a van, which I did many times. It's just a press of a button and a click back in. It unfolds fairly easily and is a breeze. I love the way it pushes. It feels like a jogging stroller. I have the Valco Runabout, and although I wouldn't say it compares in the smoothness over bumpy areas, it definitely rates much higher than any travelling stroller I've ever tried. It does great with one handed pushing and it's very very light. It looks beautiful and I had people stop me all over to ask me about it. They also comment on the ease of pushing. The basket is also unique. It looks like it can't hold much, but it does hold quite a lot. The entire seating/padding is washable and removes with a zipper. It comes with a boot, a rain sheild and a UV ray/Bug net. All in all, I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't have the space/money to buy a seperate jogging stroller as well as a travelling stroller. I'd actually recommend it to ANYONE. Enjoy it.

Pros:
Lightweight, compact fold, sun protection, stylish, cozy
Cons:
no cupholders, handles don't extend, expensive, tricky brake
|

price paid $325I've had this stroller for two months (my son just turned 7 months today). I use it almost every day for strolls around the neighborhood or on trails at the park. It is not all-terrain, but does fine on dirt, gravel, & grass. My son seems really comfortable in it. People have said it looks like an egg...very cozy. It comes with some nice add-ons: rain cover & UV/bug shield. You can recline it just a little...I haven't used that option much. I don't think this is a stroller for people over 6'. The handle feels a little low to me at 5'9", but my husband thinks it's ok and he is 5'11". The brake is really stiff...it is hard to operate with sandals or bare feet. I added a Carry You accessory to give me two cupholders and additional storage. The basket underneath is roomy, but it's a bit hard to access. All & all, it has been great. I like the stylish look and the performance has been fanstasic. Very smooth ride. I highly recommend it!
