Dangerous collapses with the babies in it, January 17, 2007

Pros: Babies can face either direction
Cons: Dangerous flimsy design

Purchased this stroller in February 2006 for newborn twins. Loved the stroller until one day, in June 2006, it collapsed with the babies in it while wheeling around the city. Luckily, people were around to assist, otherwise the babies would have fallen to the pavement into traffic.

Called the company and they replaced the frame immediately. Great!

Well it happened again in November 2006 while crossing a busy city street. Again, the babies would have been injured if my husband wasnt with me to catch them. We had to carry them home while pushing an empty $1000.- stroller.

Due to the design, the folding mechanism is located on the pushbar, the small front wheels get caught in uneven pavement. Once they are caught, you cannot dislodge them by simply pushing down on the pusbar. If you do, the flimsy plastic joint where it folds will crack and break, making the stroller collapse.

I called the company again, in Canada. This time, they didnt respond for several weeks, they do not respond to email, and they do not answer their phone during regular business hours. In December, they finally called and said they would replace the frame. It is now mid-January as I post this, Im still waiting for the frame.

We paid over $1000 for the stroller and I had to buy another one since this one is not stable.

I posted an opinion on Epinions and found another mother with the same problem. It is obviously a design flaw.

I called the local news and the Consumer Product Safety Commission and they are investigating. I hope they can recall this product before some baby gets seriously injured.

DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER. IT IS POORLY MADE AND DANGEROUS. THE COMPANY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT.

The Best Twin Stroller on the Market!!!, September 6, 2006

Pros: Versatility, Children Easily Accessible, Stylish
Cons: Weight

My wife and I have owned this stroller now for 6+ months using it for our twin identical boys. We used it from the start (they were born a month early) and we did not bother with buying the additional bassinets as the zipper cover held in the babies very well as did the strong sides and back. Plus we did purchase the Peg Perego Infant Car Seat attachment that allows you to snap the car seats onto the Stroll-Air frame. This works great and was easy to use. It also had the bonus of making it lighter since the frame was all you needed to pull out of the car before snapping in the car seats.

We get stopped all the time with this stroller, mainly by Bugaboo parents who exclaim, "What a cool stroller!" It looks great and the materials are top notch.

The weight is the only compliant (I expect a stroller made like this to be pricey, so you can’t really complain about the price.) My 5' 4", 115 lb wife cannot lift this thing in and out of the cargo area of our Lexus SUV (RX300.) So I did buy her a cheap Chicco twin stroller for occasions where I'm not with her, but we mainly use the Stroll-Air. It rides smoothly and is great for long walks, the mall, and even travel. We actually flew from Michigan to Los Angeles with this, checking it in at the gate. It is heavy but the other features make it worth the effort.

It is easy to get through doors and maneuver around the mall or in a crowd. I really don’t mind the size and find it to be a lot less constricting than what I thought before buying it. It is rugged, so it has no issue going over rough pavement or rolling it up or off curbs. It is really sturdy and the shocks and air tires make it a joy to roll around with. Plus the best part is your kids are at a reachable level that makes it easy to respond to them. With our cheap umbrella stroller, we can’t see what they are doing and they cannot roll over and take a nap like they can do in the Stroll-Air. It is the perfect stroller if only it could go on a diet and lose ~10 pounds. Beyond that minor issue, you will love this stroller! It was the best purchase of all the gadgets I have for our spoiled bratsâ€|I mean adorable kids.

The best double I've ever owned, December 5, 2005

Pros: Reversible Seats, 360 rotating tires, steers like a dream
Cons: Heavier and bulkier than most strollers

I have had my stroller for 4 mths now and we absolutely love it. Everywhere we go, someone stops us and asks what it is, where we got it....my kiddos are frequently being pushed through the mall by some strange mom. I like to let moms test drive b/c I know they will love it. The price is big but I think it's worth every penny.

This stroller is heavier and bigger than most doubles but the individually reversible seats are awesome, full recline, adjustable foot rests, adjustable handlebar, 360 rotating front tires, air tires, shocks, fully adjustable hoods, lots of usable accessories, napper bars and almost complete 90 degree sitting seats. The colors are beautiful, I have the red but after seeing the blue IRL, I like the blue better.

My kiddos are 20 mths and have spent 6 hours in the stroller in the KOP mall at Xmas time. We were there from 3-9pm this past weekend and they never once cried or asked to get out. They consistently amaze me at how long they will stay in this stroller comfortably and not crying. The footrests and seats act as a comfy couch for them and they love it. I have been through 10 strollers and this is the best I have tried so far. We love this stroller! Big price of $900 is the biggest downfall, but I really think it's worth it, especially if you're a mom of twins like me.
