Pros:
Price, ride
Cons:
Canopy, straps, seat cushions

|
Deciding that I didn't need a second mortgate to pay for a MBUD or Valco, I purchased this stroller and am pleased so far. The ride is lovely. Easy to push in grass, over gravel, and a dream on the road or sidewalk. My kids seem okay inside. My son, age 2, rests his feet on the napper bar and hangs out. He is a kid who's head is on a swivel, and one downside of this stroller (for him) is that the most upright seat position is not that upright, so he has to lean forward to really see what's going on around him. He's in an out of the stroller (any stroller) all the time, anyway, so perhaps not a big deal. The baby (4 months) seems pretty comfortable. She's in full recline and generally sleeps. The cushions that come with the stroller must have set back the manufacturer all of $0.50. They're fairly pathetic and anemic. The canopy is really not that great, but does have a nice big window so I can keep an eye on the 2 year old. I'll get a Protectabub or similar to replace. Basket is pretty large. There's not a strap for a runaway stroller but I can borrow mine from single jogger. Lock seems very secure. Fold is quite easy, but once folded the stroller is unwieldy for loading in and out of car, etc. It's fairly large, too. It will be my garage/walking stroller,a nd I'll get a smaller Inglesina Twin or Mac for car/mall/etc. stuff. Paid $189. Pretty good value. Got it primarily for walking and with a new canopy should do the job admirably.

Pros:
Handles 'rough terrain', great recline, the napper bar!
Cons:
The canopy could be bigger and the buckle can be tough

I got this stroller a couple of months ago because my regular double couldn't really handle the rough terrain I had to go over (unpaved trails, wooded areas)- especially during this snowy winter. From the first trip out in the Safari TT I was satisfied that I got my money's worth. And more remarkably, so was my husband! (who previously could not fathom why anyone would need yet ANOTHER stroller !!)I should qualify that we use the stroller only for walking so the front swivel wheel is great. I know that it locks into place for jogging but I haven't used it that way. My 2 girls (ages 1 and 2 1/2) seem comfy enough while riding. They love sitting next to each other. The older one especially likes to be able to lean over the napper bar and the younger one rests her feet on it like she's royalty! The recline is not complete but it does go pretty far back (my baby looks flat when I put it all the way down). The stroller is supposed to be from ages 6 mos. and up, and although I might worry about an infant sliding out the front, I would probably feel comfortable putting an infant in if they were wrapped up in a bunting that attached to the harness (ie. Bundle Me, etc.). The window in the canopy is nice but the canopy is not big enough to sufficiently block out the sun. The storage basket is pretty big and the only negative is that it's a bit hard to get to when the seats are reclined. The only other part of the stroller that I would change is the harness buckle. It works ok, but it's the thin kind (as opposed to a clunky slide-in) and I'm always afraid of catching my hand in it when I click it shut. On the other hand, the harness is totally secure, and I can push up and down rocky hills without my girls sliding around . Of course I'd love for the width to be thinner so that it fit through doorways easier, but then the seats wouldn't be so roomy.Overall I'd have to give this stroller a big thumbs up...
