Pros:
Looks nice
Cons:
Lock mechanism broke after 4 uses
|
|
I bought the Quinny b/c it looked great and got a A rating from the "Baby Bargains" book. The self-unfolding mechanism was easy to use...a little too easy. It just unfolded when I touched the handle. In order to fold down the stroller, I had to press the buttons on either side of the stroller, push down hard, and avoid touching the handle bar. Then in order to lock it (so that it doesn't unfold while I try to place it into the car), I had to pull on the small plastic ring attached to a bungee cord. The cord was short and difficult to put on the metal protrusion. I was literally kneeling on the ground in order to do this. I thought that it would be easier to do after a few times, but it broke after 3 days. I only got to use it 4 times.I expected a better, more durable locking mechanism for the price I paid ($549.99). I sure hope the manufacturers design a new lock. Overall, I liked the look of the stroller and the baby was comfortable in it. Steering was great with the three wheels. However, I did not like having the bend down in order to activate the locking mechanism. (Locking it is necessary if you want to move it into a car trunk.) I also am extremely disappointed that the lock broke after 4 uses. I would only recommend this stroller to someone who would keep it upright b/c folding it down was difficult for me.

Pros:
steering, reversible seat, adjustable foot rest
Cons:
NO basket, heavy, not compact fold
|
|
This Stroller is the ultimate in a stroller with its steering and wonderful seat. My son loves being able to see mommy or daddy b/c I can reverse the seat. The stroller is heavy to take out to the car and does not in any way have a great fold, but I hear it's better then the Bugaboo (fold wise). The adjustable handle makes it wonderful for my husband to push. He loves it too!

Pros:
Reversable Seat, Adjustable handle bar, Cool looking.
Cons:
No Storage, Hood is too small, Wheel base is too wide.
|
|
Overall first impression of this stroller is I love the look very differant and Unique. However for the cost of this stroller you would think the quality would be better. The handle bar rattles up and down and feels realy rickity and Ive had 2 of these both had the same feel. Also the seat is made of a plastic board which is set under the seat frame and the fabric is not very padded so I used a sheepskin liner in mine for extra padding as it definatly needs it. When the Seat is in the Reverse position it will not sit compleatly up right only on a Recline and my son loves to sit up straight so we could only use this foward facing. one other complaint is the Size of the Wheel base it is very Wide compared to the Bugaboo. IMO the Buzz and Bugaboo are in a differant class of their own If your looking for quality go for the Bug if you are pinching pennys this is a good alernative I paid $500 US when I imported one from the netherlands then I paid $369 Canadian when they came to sears canada alittle while ago.

Pros:
High cool factor/rugged/comfy/smooth ride/bassinett
Cons:
No storage/heavy/sub optimal fold
|
|
Got this stroller in Germany WITH the carycot and bundle me sleeping bag thing for $550. It is very cool (people stop and stare at it) and men seem to really like it. My 2 month old son liked the bassinette til about a week ago. Now he loves to look around in the seat stroller while looking at me (reversable seat is great). There isn't a lot of storage so I use a skip hop. It doesn't fold small. It is heavy. The ride in the city is great -- very ATV esqye and compared to the zooper swing (which I love) it is much easier to get around the bricks with. I got is b/c everyone around me has the bug and I wanted something different and I am happy I got the Buzz. Just know what the downsides are before you buy!

Pros:
the seat comfort, the steering
Cons:
The lack of a basket!
|
|
I think this is by far my favorite stroller! It looks to be very comfortable for my son (who is two). The seat is comfy, the large canopy provides a lot of shade, and the steering is really good. The adjustable handle is also great for my husband and I. I also love the way you can take the seat and the wheels off if you need a really compact fold. IF only it had a basket, it would be fabulous!
