Cons:

I'm so impressed!!! I was quite surprised at the other reviews. I LOVE this stroller & it was worth spending the $$$ . I am a bargin shopper and rarely purchase anything full price, most of the time things are on DEEP discount. I do like to purchase quality for items that I will have for years. I really like the idea of the 2nd seat for the next child & the versitility of this stroller . . . I was looking for an all in one (quality) stroller. I did not want to fill a closet with strollers for different activities, like some of my friends. Or purchse a new stroller with every child. I purchased the stroller on e-bay brand new for $345- and since bought many accessories. First, I have taken this stroller in the mall, walked around my non-sidewalk neighborhood, gone hiking or just strollin around my home. It goes anywhere with ease. I have the infant car seat kit which creates a "buggy" stroller and my son is higher than most car seats.Second, my son just started sitting in the front and loves it. He is just 3 1/2 months (in the 90% for height & weight) and fits just fine. It took a few minutes to adjust the straps but no worry of him getting out. Third, this stroller manuvers so easily over any surface. Fourth, it folds and fits in the back of my mid-size car just fine. It is a little heavy but I don't mind considering all of the other wonderful features. My only real gripe about this stroller is when I it collapses, the handle will hit the ground. I have adjusted the way I put it away to minimize any damage.I am so pleased with this stroller and look forward to many years of service.

Pros:
smooth ride
Cons:
Heavy, Hard to Fold, No Infant Restrants Doubles Kit Useless
|
|
I had high hopes for this stroller. It claimed to be the answer to many problems parents have with strollers. I bought this when i found out I was expecting my second child. My son was 12 months old at the time. The first thing i noticed was it was very very heavy and was difficult to fold. In fact it was so heavy my back actually hurt after putting it in my Honda CRV which does not have a high trunk at all. The next think I noticed was the strapes were lose on my son, how in the world would an infant go in it and the strapes were very very hard and time consumming to adjust. Because I am reviewing this as a single stroller, I will not mention the cons of double use except to say it is horrible, awful, and just terrible. I paid 375 for this on sale and if all you are looking for is a smooth riding jogging stroller there are much better choices out there for less money. And PLEASE do buy this because it is supposed to grow with your family. You will regret it.

Pros:
Air-filled tires; converts to double with attachment
Cons:
High price and hard to find in stores
|
|
I've used this stroller almost every day for the past year. We live in an older neighborhood with high curbs and bumpy sidewalks, and the air-filled tires and great steering make walks a pleasure for parent and baby alike. We started using the stroller when DS was 7 months old and he's now almost 20 months old, and it has worked well at every stage. I also considered an MBUS (Mountain Buggy Urban Single), but picked the E3 because it's a little cheaper and can later be converted to a double stroller for about $70...I can't afford to make another huge investment down the road if we have another child, so the adaptability was a big plus. Mostly we use it for walks and errands in our neighborhood, and while I have folded it and put it in the trunk, I would find it a little cumbersome and heavy for frequent trips. I have a lightweight umbrella stroller that I prefer for most car trips.

Pros:
Single to double and back so easy; excellent manuverability
Cons:
Heavy; tall canopy rarely blooks sun
|
|
I bought this stroller (with doubles kit) when I found out I was pregnant with my second child. The first time I saw this stroller on the street with the second seat I thought it was the lamest thing I had ever seen. Then I went double stroller shopping and was instantly a convert. It's narrow like a tandem but very easy to push like a side-by-side. I can even steer it one-handed because it glides and turns so easily. The hefty price tag can be justified because it's a single and double and back again with the press of two buttons so I used it with my older son before the baby came and will still be able to use it with my youngest when the older one only wants to walk. It's the best of all worlds.
It is a bit heavy but having opened, closed and lifted it at a store I knew that going in. What I did not anticipate was that the canopy was so high it does nothing to shield the rider in the main seat from the sun except at high noon.
We've been using our stroller with our infant (now 7 1/2 months old) since day one and never had an issue with the harness.
One issue I've seen posted on other boards is that the kid in the second seat (when attached to the back) can touch the wheels. You can get free Phil & Ted's wheel guards at http://www.regallage r.com which eliminates the problem.
I bought mine new on Ebay for $400 (with double seat) if I remember correctly.
I wholeheartedly recommend this stroller. We use it everyday for all types of situations (mall, neighborhood walks, off-roading).

Pros:
Converts to double, smooth ride on dirt, easy to push
Cons:
Harness is too big even for my 30 pounder, bulky and heavy
|
|
I really do love this stroller, but it's definately not perfect. For as much as it costs, I shouldn't have to BUY more accessories (cupholder, sunshade, panier bags etc.) The harnesses drive me NUTS- they are SO big, even on the tightest setting it doesn't fit my son who is almost 3 and weighs 30 pounds. I'm a smallish person and I have trouble lifting it into the trunk, so I usually bring our cheapie stroller if DH isn't with me.It pushes great, even on rocks and dirt, the air filled tires are wonderful! Both kids are comfortable in it and usually fall asleep. I love that I can easily take the double seat off and make it into a single stroller if I don' t have both kids. It worked well at the mall and the zoo and for a 3 mile walk along the river. It goes through small spaces that a sbs double wouldn't and I don't feel like I'm pushing a bus either.Be prepared to get stopped...people are very curious when they see that second child underneath the first.
