Pros: maneuverability, style, fold, shade, car seat use, pocket
Cons: weight

I spent months reading reviews and obsessing about strollers until I came across this on Amazon and fell in love with the look of it. It was a fairly new stroller so it was very hard finding correct info. Amazon incorrectly listed the weight and that it had a universal car seat adaptor (it has been corrected). Also some Amazon reviewers confused it with the P3, causing more confusion about the features. Peg Perego customer service says the stroller is 15.5 lbs. I think it's a bit heavy, but no problem for a suburban mom like me who just lifts it in and out of a trunk, and also think it'd be okay for the airport

I didn't want to buy a Peg Perego car seat b/c of the cost and weight of the seat, but forced myself to (on ebay) b/c I liked the stroller so much. Definitely worth it, the seat locks in easily and looks very attractive on the stroller. It's so seamless that everyone thinks that it is part of the stroller. The car seat does weigh a ton, but I always use the stroller with it or my husband will carry the car seat in restaurants or other quick moves to a shopping cart. Also the baby will eventually grow out of the infant seat, so I think it's an okay tradeoff. (The car seat specialist at the hospital said it was one of the better ones, and the sun shade is good.)

The fold is great. The stroller is sturdy and the looks match the price. The basket is easier to use than I thought. The meshy bag allows easy access from the side. I do light grocery shopping with it. You can also fold it up with items still in the basket. We just keep the Baby Bjorn in it. I can also fit my diaper bag in it, and it's pretty big.

It handles very well over bumpy streets and sidewalks.

Initially, I wish it had a window in the back so you could see the baby while pushing like the P3, but the roomy zipper pocket is actually very useful for wallet, keys, cell, and even drinks.

Very happy with it, and believe it might be the only stroller we'll need. If you want something more sturdy looking than the Aria, but sleeker than the P3, you'll like the Pliko Lite. Paid $229.

Pros: Attractive look, easy fold/unfold, light yet sturdy
Cons: Small basket

This was our second stroller after our Snap and Go. The stroller has a very generous sized seat and shade (especially when child is sitting in the most upright position).

The P3 version was a touch too heavy for me. Really the only difference is the front bar/tray on the P3. You CANNOT fit anything but a Peg Perego infant seat into this stroller, so wait until baby can hold up his/her head before trying to use this one full time. The basket is very small, so only take your essentials with you when going out (i.e. diaper changing kit) and carry a small purse or backpack. The stroller is sturdy enough to hang a light bag/purse from one of the handles but that's all I would suggest. Hanging something on one handle makes the opposite wheel lift off the ground.

I paid $149 including shipping on Albeebaby.com. Money well spent...baby is very comfortable in it and I love using it!

An excellent alternative to tippy umbrella strollers, June 10, 2006

Pros: Large seat, large hood, large basket, smooth ride
Cons: two handed recline and wish the handles were higher

I really like my Pliko Lite, though there are a few frustrating points about it for me.

First, what I love about it - I love the seat size, it has a very long legrest and a nice, tall back. It fits both my 19mo and my 5yo for size, and that's quite a range. The fabrics are plush and the colors are fresh, making a very nice look. The basket is large enough, especially if you are used to umbrella strollers. It's easy to access from the sides. The hood is great, really great. It doesn't come all the way down like the P3 does, but it goes pretty darn far down and covers my DD very well. The conveniences are there too, with the pocket on the back of the hood and the cupholder. It's not a big one, but it holds some drinks.

Now, what I think could be improved - Peg Perego has deveoped a nice one handed recline system that they have on their P3. Why didn't they put it on the Lite? The two handed recline of the Lite is a pain. I also wish it had a full recline. It reclines enough for comfortable napping, but it could be better. Another thing that PP has on their P3 is adjustable handles, and the Lite needs them too. I am 5'9" and the Lite is just barely high enough for me. It's close to the frustrating range. And lastly, don't confuse "Lite" with "lightweight". It's not a "heavy" stroller, but it's not quite in the lighweight category either. It seems to weigh almost as much as the P3!

All in all, the pros outweight the cons on the Pliko Lite, for me. I hope they fix a few things on their 2007 version, and then it will be even better! I paid $229 for mine at BRU.

Great, sleek looking, sturdy, with convenience features, July 25, 2007

Pros: Sleeker than the P3, but still sturdy
Cons: Might not fit needs, no longer current in the US

I bought this stroller on ebay for $125 including shipping. I am still pregnant, so I have no real-world experience with the stroller, but I was pleased with how the stroller looks, the ease of removing the fabric, operating the stroller (folding, raising the seat, etc.).

One of the main reasons that I chose this umbrella-style stroller is the fact that I can hang my diaper bag/purse on the handles and the stroller does not tip over without a child being in the seat. May sound dumb, but if my kid gets out unexpectedly, I would hate for the stroller to tip and send the contents of my bag flying.

The fabric is very pretty (I bought Mint) and the colors that you see online are very true to real life. The hood seems to be almost large enough...not as big as some, but I think that it is one of the best for this type of stroller.

The cup holder is kinda small, but 20 oz bottled drinks and S/M to go cups fit just fine.

I am 5'8" and have had no trouble with the handles not being the proper height.

One question that I still have is: Will a Graco Snugride snap into the holders meant for a Perego car seat? I have not bought a carseat yet and really would rather buy the Snugride over the Viaggio.

Pros: easy to fold, stylish, lightweight
Cons: small cupholder and storage basket size

This was my fourth stroller purchase since May 2005. I wish this had been available before now. I previously had the Pliko P3 and did NOT like it at all. The construction seemed flimsy for the price I paid for it. The Pliko Lite is an excellent buy for $229. It is amazingly easy to fold, the backrest seems more substantial than the P3 and it looks good too. While the storage basket is a nice size,(and easier to access than the P3), it is still on the small side. The cupholder is very small as well.

The fabric cover on the seat is removable and hand washable. The instructions for removing and replacing the cover could be a little more clear, though.

Overall, a VERY good stroller.
