Pros: Compact, EASY fold and open
Cons: Tips easily, no stroller bar or drink holders

I tried out several strollers before deciding on the Mac Techno Classic. Mine is a 2004 model in Crystal and Carbon (blue and black!). The reason I chose this stroller was based on frustrations on my old stroller. I wanted a compact, easy to carry stroller, easy to put in and out of the car trunk, and EASY EASY EASY to fold- and the Mac Techno delivers all that!! I was totally satisfied until I used it for a few weeks and found a few flaws that moves this down to a B+ grade for me.

The stroller tips easily when I've removed my toddler from the seat but my heavy diaper bag or shopping bags are still hanging on the handles. The weight on the handles can't be over 5 pounds if the child isn't in the seat. I have NEVER had it tip over when my son was in the seat- so it is a safe product, just annoying when I forget to remove my bags before removing my child.

The seat of the Mac Techno is slung back- so the child looks very relaxed like in a LazyBoy recliner! But, my son occassionally wants to pull forward and can't. There is no child "napper bar" for him, nor cup holder. Those features would be nice.

There aren't parent drink holders either. I've often had to toss a drink because there just is no logical place to put it after lunch at the mall. After-market drink holders haven't stayed in place- or will hinder folding this stroller.

A big plus feature for this stroller is the easy manueverability. I can go in the tightest of eisles at the mall- something that most strollers struggle with. Steering one-handed is also easy!

The fold on the Techno is easy, and opening it is even easier. I have troubles with my hands, and this was probably the biggest feature that I looked for. I have been stuck asking strangers for help folding my previous stroller!

Once folded, the Techno doesn't take up much room in my compact trunk.

The stroller does have nice, durable fabric- however the suede-like portion of the fabric is a little more trouble to clean. The stroller is only spot-clean, which I was hoping to put the whole fabric seat into the wash.

The canopy is really nice! Living in the rainy Northwest, good rain coverage is essential. The canopy covers my son well, and even pulls down to completely block everything but his legs. A separate clear rain-cover is included, but I've never felt the need for it.

The basket isn't as large or easy to use as some other strollers, but this wasn't a big deal to me as I don't grocery shop using the stroller.

My Mac Techno Classic has only been used for my toddler, so I've never used the recline feature, but it does almost fully recline. This feature would be nice for an infant, however I do question if an infant would be comfortable with the placement of the straps on this stroller- they seem quite high for a baby.

Overall, I am still quite happy with this stroller after a year of solid use! I do readily recommend it!
