Pros:
steering, comfortable, works well on "off roads"
Cons:
pull string recline, not car seat adaptable, bulky
|

This was a gift, I think it was about $100 from Burlington. I love the way it steers and the wheels. However I ended up also having a universal car seat holder/stroller for when he was tiny because I was tired of carrying the carseat but didn't want to wake him up by putting him in the stroller. But as I've realized they grow out of the infant buckets fast and now he's in a non removable car seat and this stroller. It fitts great in my trooper but I can see that it would be touch in a car. Overall I LOVE my stroller, it's definitely better than the travel systems that I see all around me.

Cons:

I got lucky and bought our Liberty from someone locally on eBay for $41 and it's one of my best purchases yet. We live out in the country, without sidewalks. Literally, I push my 10 month old all over the place in this stroller - across the yard, down gravel roads, out in the barnyard, across the pasture, and it handles it all! It's easy to push, and easy to navigate - you can turn it with one hand, and since it has 3 wheels, it turns on a dime. One thing I don't like is the drawstring in the back that reclines the seat. It seems like I can't get it tight enough to get the seat more upright. Secondly, it is very bulky. I use it mostly around the house, so it stays 'parked' in the garage, but we have taken it with us on outings where we knew we'd be out in bumpy terrain. (I have another stroller for "going to town".) It takes up alot of room in the back of your vehicle. I'm not even sure it would fit in a compact car's trunk. But all and all, I love it - I wouldn't trade it for anything. It certainly gets the job done out here in the country!

Pros:
cute steering wheel, smooth ride
Cons:
CANOPY, SHOULDER HARNESS
|
|
I bought it $99 (TRU) due to the good reviews and for walks on gravel road & dirt trails around my house. The sun canopy is a joke. I guess those who liked it do not live in So Calif. I had to constantly adjust a blanket over the front & side. Sun gets in from many angles. I will say the ride is smooth, but the shoulder harness is not tight enough, probably okay for an older child. I wonder if the Limited edition is better, but I'm not going to find out.

Pros:
Smooth ride, sturdy, easy to maneuver on rough/bumpy roads
Cons:
Recline feature, weight

We received this stroller as a gift but I believe it was listed at $99 when it was on our registry at BRU.We live in a rural neighborhood with no sidewalks, and near two nice parks with gravel walking trails. We wanted a stroller that could handle the bumps and uneven road, and this one definitely fits the bill. It steers easily (even one-handed) and moves smoothly over gravel and other bumps. There is plenty of storage- a large basket underneath, two saddlebags, and a parent tray with cupholders and a small compartment with lid (great for keys etc.). The stroller is heavy and bulky- not easy to transport even in our station wagon. But we bought it to leave at home so the weight/bulk isn't an issue for us. The recline feature is difficult to use (a plastic slider on two cords)- you have to adjust it before putting your child in; I've found it nearly impossible to adjust when my son's weight is against the seat back.My son has been riding comfortably in the stroller since he was 2 months old; we bought a fleece snuggle sack (Especially for Baby brand; fits beautifully) to line the seat and that seems to cradle him and keep him warm. All in all, this stroller is a bargain and we would definitely buy it again.

Cons:

This stroller was purchased as my second stroller when my first child was 5 months old. The weather was turning nice and I needed something for neighborhood walks that would primarily be kept in the garage. I went to Babies R Us and after pushing the available "jogging" strollers around the store, I settled for the Jeep. Overall I am happy with this stroller. Had I never tried some of my friends' higher end comparable strollers, I would consider myself very happy with the Jeep. The instruction manual states that this is NOT a jogging stroller, although in appearance it is very similiar to other stollers that are indeed joggers. One feature that I do like, and do use, is the front wheel locking mechanism. If you are on rougher terrain or you are moving with slight speed, you are able to look the front wheel to gain more control. However, I have noticed that generally this stroller doesn't have the easiest steering. You have to work to keep the front wheel from pulling outward. I mostly use this stroller on paved streets where the outer sides slant slightly downward. In other words, when you are not on a perfectly flat surface, the stroller pulls with the slope of the road. Returning to the positive attributes, I really enjoy the radio / CD player capability (note: you must supply your own music device) and my daughter loves the steering wheel and car-like toys that can easily be attached to the snack tray. The canopy is not as large as I would like and I attached an secondary market sunshade to block the glare of the hot sun. The worst feature of this stroller is it's weight. The few times I have taken it in my car, it was heavy and cumbersome to lift. Luckily I purchased this stroller realizing this drawback and as I said earlier, it rarely leaves the garage. Additionally the recline is limited and the back seat cushion is very flat. Overall I am pleased with this stroller and think that as long as you don't purchase it with grand expectations you will feel that you got your money's worth.
