I purchased the Jeep Wrangler umbrella stroller from Toys 'R Us in October 2007. I paid $29.99 plus tax.I purchased this stroller for a 2-week trip to Mexico with my 7 month old son. I had originally wanted a Maclaren Volo, but the thought of the airline losing or damaging such an expensive stroller scared me. So I purchased the Jeep Wrangler instead, and I'm very glad that I did. This is a surprisingly nice stroller for the price. I'm 6' tall, and the handles were high enough for me to walk comfortaby, which is not at all common for umbrella strollers (especially such an inexpensive one). The seat and handles feel very sturday, unlike some cheaper umbrellas. The steering was very good, and the brakes work well. It did not take a lot of effort to start or stop the stroller. The seat back rolls up to form a little pillow, leaving the mesh back of the seat open, which was very nice in the heat down in Mexico. The canopy is small, but it is adjustable (and actually stays where you put it!), so it's very effective. The fold is pretty easy, and the stroller is very lightweight. There is no storage basket, although there are two little "saddlebags" on both sides of the stroller (these are kind of useless, in my opinion, although I guess you could store a Diapees & Wipees and maybe a bottle in them). The stroller was also slightly tippy if I had my diaper bag attached to the handles and took my son out of the seat, but I understand that this is pretty common with most umbrella strollers.I honestly saw very little difference between this stroller and the Mac Volo I tested, other than the fact that the Jeep is roughly 1/4 the price of the Maclaren. My advice? Save your money and buy the Jeep Wrangler!

I bought this stroller to be our west coast/grandparent stroller for a quick trip to Mexico. I had been drooling over the Volo, but for a 1 day trip, couldn't justify the expense. This stroller fit the bill. It's got a seat pad that turns into a pillow, a mesh seat, angled higher handles and a smallish looking canopy, but this thing rotates 180 degrees and stays where you put it, so you can continue to keep the sun out of your child's face. It was completly untip-able. I hung my huge bag on the back side of it and the baby was fussy, so he kept going in and out of the stroller. The thing didn't even whinge. It just stayed where we put it, upright. The push wasn't super-duper Mountain Buggy/Valco-tastic, but it wasn't horrible either. It didn't take much to get it going, but it didn't keep going when you stopped pushing. At $30, this stroller is a winner in my book
