More than an umbrella stroller - great for errands & outings, January 4, 2007

Pros: So lightweight and sturdy, very easy to manauver
Cons: cup holder pops off of stroller when put in car trunk

I believe I paid $149 from Living in Comfort after loads of research. It's the 2006 version, pink. I wanted something sturdy enough to handle minor bumps while walking in the park and at the zoo, but lightweight enough to be my errand and mall stroller. This fits the bill. It also has a handle on the side for easy carrying while traveling. The recline is very smooth and its' lightly padded. My DD has had no problems napping in it (or making a swift transfer from sleeping in car seat to sleeping in stroller). She's been in it since 7 months (now 13mos) and is very petite. Her legs are very short but the foot rest raises so her legs can be straight in front of her instead of the edge of the seat hitting the bottom of her calves. I can fit diaper bag and a small camera bag in the bottom basket.

Overall very very happy with it.

Best Umbrella Stroller I have owned (and I've had 5 others), September 30, 2006

Pros: Pushes great, suspension, nice recline, parent cupholder
Cons: Hood could be better, seat could be deeper

I have had five other umbrella strollers and the Trip really is the best overall. The wheels are larger and have a suspension built in so it pushes really great, even with a 40lb 5yo in it if necessary. The recline is nice and deep and could only be improved by making it one handed I think. The seat back is nice and tall, though the seat depth could be a little better, but it works just fine. Both of my kids are comfortable in it and it also takes a buggy board with plenty of room for the rider since the handles are so nice and tall. The hood could be better, but it's the same as other umbrella strollers so I can't complain that much.

In my opinion, the Trip is yards better than the Maclaren Quest, which is what it gets compared to often. There's just no comparision in terms of features and performance. The only area where Maclaren is better than Inglesina is in their color offerings and marketing, I think. The new colors for '07 are much better though, so they are coming up in that area too. Yah!

I paid $129 shipped for my Trip shortly after they came out, which was a special deal offered by Kiwi-Kids to the StrollerSwap group. I'm so glad I got it!

HTH, Sharon

Pros: Lightweight, looks great, easy to fold
Cons: Some issues with recline, pricey

I ordered this stroller for my travel and lightweight stroller. Its my first Inglesina and I love it. I wanted to get the Zippy for my main stroller, but didn't because I was scared of the umbrella handles. I thought it would be hard to push one handed. Well, my Trip is SO easy to push. It is also really easy to fold, even while holding a large diaper bag and a 22lb 6 month old.

I guess my only complaint would be the recline. I've had some issues with the recline and one side seems to collapse one notch further than the other side. I just need to push the one side back up to make sure it is 'clicked' into place, but a little annoying, especially considering the price tag. Otherwise, no complaints. The fabric is wonderful. The hood is large. Very stable. What more can I say?? Love it.
