The I'coo Platon Duo is an extremely nice stroller - it's very well made, and very nice to look at. My toddler was very comfortable in it and was happy riding in it. Since our second child isn't born yet, we never tried it with two children, but we did try it in doubles mode with just our toddler in the front. It's also a neat concept - you can use it in doubles mode with the seats facing away, the seats facing you, or the seats back to back. Or you can turn it into a single stroller, again with the seat facing away or facing you. So this is really more than one stroller rolled into one.The Platon has swivel wheels in the front, though they don't swivel all the way around. You can also lock them so that they don't move at all. In swivel mode, it's very easy to steer the stroller and it rides extremely well. (My husband's comment was that it has an excellent suspension.) The wheels can be easily pulled off with the push of a button. The brake is also very easy to set, as it's just a foot button on the back. The canopies on this stoller are also very generous - I rarely see canopies as big as the ones on this stroller. They can also be totally removed if you so desire. And the handle goes up and down for people of various heights. The seats are also very nicely padded, and both come with footrests, though the front (and "main") seat has a slightly nicer footrest than the back one. And it has a very good sized basket underneath, though the basket isn't as convenient to reach in doubles mode as it is in single mode.As I said, this is an exceptionally nice stroller. My main complaint with it is it's weight, however. I couldn't find it listed on the US website for I'coo, the German website, nor any overseas websites selling this stroller. So I'm not entirely sure of the exact weight, but it is a heavy stroller, even for a double stroller. That, and the fact that it doesn't have a very compact fold, makes it hard to get in and out of a vehicle. (There's no way you'd be able to get this in and out of a small vehicle either.) I don't honestly think you'd want this as something to pull in and out of the car a lot, though it'd be fabulous for pushing around the neighborhood or elsewhere as an all-terrain stroller. Just as long as you didn't have to get it in and out of the car a lot.Had we still been living overseas, where we walked a lot and rarely used the car, this stroller would have been perfect. However, since we have to use the car more often here in the States, it wouldn't have worked for us as our only double stroller. (And I really only want one double stroller.) So while I would definitely recommend this stroller because it's extremely nice, I would only recommend it to someone who would rarely be getting it in and out of a vehicle.
