Pros:
Price and Size
Cons:
basket
|
|
I had my heart set on a travel system until I heard from several people "You will not want to lug that huge stroller around" and boy were they right. I live in a condo and use the stroller ALL the time (way too difficult to get around and carry groceries in from the car up 20 stories without a stroller basket). The price was right and how often are you really going to take an infant out and about anyhow? I wish the basket had an adjustable frame so I could get more things in and out without having to move the seat but you learn the routine of putting things in THEN putting the baby in. I'm waiting until baby gets bigger to buy the "super stroller".

Pros:
Best locking mechanism, black and red is cool
Cons:
Two hand fold, inaccessable basket
|
|
As my husband and I were looking at the Snug Rider and Snap and Gos, a woman came up to us and told us about how inaccessable the basket was with the car seat in it. We bought it anyway because I loved that it was black and red instead of deadly boring navy. Also I liked the way the front clips hold the car seat in (as opposed to straps with the Snap n Go). The baby also sits up higher and closer which I also liked. But I have to admitt, the woman was right, with the car seat in, I can't get my (small) diaper bag out. Also the cup holder is too small to even hold a 20 oz bottle of water or soda, pretty useless unless you drink coffee. The fold requires two hands which could also be improved on. All in all, we like our Snug Ride, it's been our only stroller for six months but there are some kinks to work out!

Pros:
Lightweight, inexpensive, one hand fold up, roomy storage
Cons:
Latch that secures fold up is not always reliable
|
|
I brought the Graco Snap N' Go Stroller that combines with the SnugRider Car Seat because I was in a crunch. My son was born 7 weeks early (preemie) and I hadn't yet decided on what stroller to purchase. Since I had already gotten the SnugRider Car Seat as a baby shower gift I thought the Snap N Go was a great quick needed idea. Overall I am happy with the stroller. It was for a great price at BRU and being that I have to take out the car seat in order to fold the stroller up I thought the one handed fold up was awesome and easy to do.The one problem I have is sometimes the latch that is suppose to secure the stroller into fold up position doesn't always lock so the stroller sometimes opens up again. Not good when I have a car seat with a baby in it and/or trying to multitask carrying other items. The other problem that I had was because my baby was a preemie he was about 5 pounds and the SnugRider car seat doesn't recline so the one position that the stroller automatically holds into place was slightly uncomfortable for a baby who wasn't filling out the car seat. He's 8lbs now and he looks much more comfortable and fits better, but that might be something preemie mothers take into consideration in the early stages.

Pros:
light weight, easy collapse
Cons:
hard to access the basket
|
|
We bought this stroller for about $60 after going to a baby expo and seeing several available strollers. I knew I didn't want to fool with the huge, SUV sized strollers, especially for a new baby.We bought another stroller for longer outings and when our son is larger.

Pros:
Inexpensive and convenient
Cons:
Cheap construction, hard to unfold sometimes, bulky.
|
|
This is a handy stroller frame to buy with the Graco infant car seat. We basically bought it since we didn't know yet which other style/type of stroller we would want but we knew we wanted a high-end brand eventually and wanted to wait and spend our money on a Peg Perego P3 or a McClaren and also get a good stroller for hiking.I have a big SUV, so the size of the frame, even folded, isn't a problem. But it is bulky enough so that when we use my husband's F-350 pickup truck with a full-size cab with four doors, it gets in the way if we leave it inside the cab with us. I am glad we bought it and it's pretty convenient and easy to use. Plus, it's cheap enough so that I don't worry about airport personnel breaking it when we travel.
