Pros:
reversable seat, full recline, full coverage canopy, light
Cons:
handling, small basket
|
|
We bought the I-thru on-line for about 1/2 price of retail, as it is being discontinued. UPS delivered a box with a handle (less likely to get tossed around during shipping). stroller comes fully assembled, ready to use. We love the reversable seat - you pull on a handle under the seat, pick it up, reverse it and click it back in. It takes less than 10 secs to do that. There are many many other things we love about the stroller - cushy seat, color of fabric (we got it in Citrus, which is a deep orange color), full recline, full coverage canopy in a sturdy fabric, see thru mesh window on canopy, kiddie tray/cup holder, one hand fold, very light! What we don't like about the I-thru: the one draw back would be the poor handling. Other small stuff that could improve are the small basket, seat and canopy must be fully reclined to fold up small, recline does not sit-up all the way, fabric parent console - although this is probably a personal preference (we swapped it with our plastic Snap-n-Go console). All in all, we are very happy with our purchase.

Pros:
lightweight, easy to use, pram feature
Cons:
wheels are not the best for turning
|
|
We love the bright color (orange) i-thru! Everybody stops me to ask about it. We paid $184 for the stroller (on sale). It is easy to fold up, very light weight. I didn't want a stroller travel system. The stroller lays down as a pram and will convert into a toddler stroller as well.
The wheels are not the best--hard to maneuver and had to spray the wheels with silicone for better turning.
Overall, I love to show off my combi stroller!

Pros:
Lightweightish, Great Canopy&Cushy Seat, Easy Recline & Fold
Cons:
Smallish Basket, Bigger than umbrella Fold
|

We paid $199+Tax + SH for our Olive Colored I-Thru. We have been very pleased so far. We use it mainly for the mall and have enjoyed the pram option rather than the heavier car seat. My son is only 11 wks old and seems to love facing me most of the time right now. I like how we can reverse it later on and still have a great stroller. I find it to be relatively lightweight for the stroller. 16lbs I think. The Boot is a wonderfully warm option for winter or can be removed to reveal the tray. The steering has been easy and the fold is super. The Basket won't be big enough for pack rats, but I find it nice for us. It takes up some space in the back of my jeep but still leaves some room when compared to my friends' gracos.
Overall a reasonably priced stroller that works for the baby and me!
