Pros:
Lightweight, easy to maneuver, acoustic canopy
Cons:
slippery seat fabric
|
|
We paid $145 for this stroller from an online retailer in Oct. 2005. We only purchased the Savona stroller, not the matching car seat. This is a good stroller for everyday neighborhood walks, trips to the mall, etc. It's super-lightweight and folds easily. It is easy to maneuver. DS loves the acoustic canopy that allows him to listen to music while we stroll. The tray is easily detachable for cleaning, as is the seat cushion. The only down side I see about this stroller is the seat itself. The fabric is made of a slippery nylon, so when DS was small I had to prop him with blankets to keep him from sliding around. The reclining feature and the harness straps are difficult to adjust.

Pros:
The price, it's functional
Cons:
Car seat is bulky and stroller is difficult to steer
|
|
I bought the savona travel set from RightStart on clearance last summer when I was pregnant. I paid around $160 for the entire set. It was a great deal for a car seat and stroller. I was initally interested in the Combi Tyro seat because it had higher weight/height limits than the others on the market at the time (if I had waited a couple of months, they ALL would have had higher limits). But after my daughter was born, I found the seat to be bulky and cumbersome. I was also banging it into doors, etc. The Snugride's & Peg Perego seats always looked so much more compact and smaller than the boat that is the Tyro. However, when using the seatbelts to secure it in the car, it did get excellent crash ratings. Now the stroller I really don't like and am in the market for another. I really don't use it too much - but last another poster, the straps seem really long. My daughter is now 10 months and the straps are still too long. She just doesn't seem comfortable in it and it's hard to steer and navigate. I'm always bumping into something (it could be my 'driving', but even my hubby complains about it.). I also find it hard to fold up. On the plus side, it is lightweight and compact. I just wish I had gotten a snugride seat and waited until my daughter was born to go stroller shopping.

Pros:
big basket, wheels good, lightweight
Cons:
kick the wheels, harness to big, slides in seat, fold
|
|
i bought this stroller before my baby was born thinking this would be the only stroller I needed. It was lightweight, not too big or too small had a tray and parent cupholder. Wow, was I wrong. I never used it with a carseat, but now my baby is 8 months a big for her age.It strolls very well, basket is accessable and big and it is very lightweight with a handle that helps alot.It has adjustable handle but not tall enough for me at 5'9", I kick the wheels especially when walking in neighborhood ( i got a BOB for that). The harness is hard to adjust and is still way to big at the smallest setting for my 8 month old "biggie". and because she is not snug in there I feel she slips down in the seat. Somehow it is slippery and she just looks plain uncomfortable. Fold isn't hard but definetely takes two hands. So, now I have a mac volo too for all of these negatives. I think I will like this stroller when she a little older and sits up more.paid $99

Pros:
folds easily
Cons:
cheap adjuster to recline seat & tray to far from seat
|
|
This seat was just okay. I bought it b/c it was compatible with the Graco Snugride carseat, so for that purpose it was excellent. It comes with a med sized basket underneath. Folds easily. My biggest two complaints are that the back seat adjuster is cheap & could be made better considering other stroller in the same price range are better and taht the tray in front of the seat is too far away even if the seat is adjusted to a 90 degree angle. DD has to pull herself toward the tray which seems kind of uncomfortable and ridiculous. Also, there is no where that is designed to hold toys or link-a-doos that hold toys.

Pros:
lightweight, compact, easy to open
Cons:
now want double stroller -no combi compatible option
|
|
I have loved my Combi Savona TS for 18 months and now I'm really bummed. Having my second child and they don't make something I can put my carseat into. Now I'm going to have to invest more money in a whole new system if I want the advantages of a carseat that goes into the stroller. They apparently make one for a different model, just not mine. Wish I'd known that ahead of time. reconsider if you're going to have additional children close in age.
