Not quite up to our expectations, May 28, 2006

Pros: Lightweight, easy two-hand fold
Cons: Short, small canopy and basket, twisty straps

We bought it in Hawaii from Kelsey's for about $150. Overall, it's okay for mall use and short walks. It's lightweight and sets up in a jiffy. The handle does feel a little loose and it's difficult to steer one-handed. Also the front fixed locks and brakes are difficult to set if you have big feet/shoes that don't fit between the wheels. Also it's not very good on grass or bumpy sidewalks.

Infant head support doesn't help as it's too high up, so our baby's head never was quite where it would provide support. Shoulder straps were a bit twisty and also too high above the shoulders. Our baby is 3 mos and it's still to high. Since the leg openings seemed like she could slide out when in a partial upright position, we used the zippered enclosure that zips around the padded bar in front. This made me feel more at ease using it, but by the end of our walk around the block, she would be all the way down and her legs looked cramped from the enclosure. The middle strap between her legs seemed to be too low which is what makes the infant headrest useless.

The tiny basket is pretty much useless and the cup holders are a bit small. The cup holder attachment also doesn't stay on the metal clips when you fold the stroller. Also the canopy is really small and doesn't help with the sun, especially when the seatback is reclined. There were issues opening it with the infant carrier attachment as it gets stuck on the canopy when you are trying to open the stroller.

I like it well enough for trips to the store and short walks on smooth sidewalks, but now we are looking for a good all-terrain stroller for bumpy sidewalks and park grass.

One thing that I noticed helped with the recline, is that if you shorten up the carrying straps, it helps support the recline, since the cord recline adjustment is rather flimsy.

Pros: light-weight, works well with Connection car seat
Cons: Recline is awful, basket too small to use

I registered for this stroller after reading the positive reviews it received in Baby Bargains. I received the stroller as a gift (I believe our friends paid $99 for it). I am a shorter person so the stroller handle height works okay for me, but not at all for my husband who is 6 feet tall. Handle should be adjustable. Really worked well with the fantastic Connection car seat. I love the fact that it is so light-weight and compact when folded-- has been very easy to travel with. That said, I was surprised at how cheaply made the 5 point harness and recline mechanism appear to be. Our recline actually ended up breaking. The replacement part was back-ordered for 3 weeks. Then, I had to make follow-up phone calls with the company for them to actually send the part to us. The 5 point harness seems to be made of cheaper plastic, as well. We don't even use the straps that attach because they twist. I can't figure out how to not have a ton of slack in the straps, too. The little "shoulder pads" really seem to be made more to conceal the excess slack in the straps than for the comfort of our child. I was really disppointed. The canopy doesn't do much for shading from the sun if it is at an angle. I do like the window in the top of the canopy, however. Doesn't handle well on the street-- definitely best for smooth sidewalks and/or mall-walking as stated in Baby Bargains. I would not register for this stroller again--- but was still really pleased with the way it functioned with the car seat. It's a nice looking stroller. Probably could have just done with a Snap-N-Go, though.

Pros: it is light weight
Cons: short handles/difficult straps

i was very disappointed in this item that came recommended by the book. i received it as a shower gift, i believe it was $99-120. it is too short for me and my husband, i am 5'8" and he is 5'10". the straps were so hard to figure out and then shorten i thought i was going to cry, whenever my baby outgrows the straps i cringe at the thought of trying to lengthen them. also, the basket underneath is difficult to get to/ put anything in. my diaper bag will fit if i stomp it down in there. since the handles are so short i tried to walk to the side, but you can't manuever it very well with one hand. i miss my graco carseat and $50 frame!!! it worked so well.

Pros: The red color
Cons: the straps, the basket, the cup holders

I have never posted a review before but feel compelled as I feel so strongly that this was a sheer waste of my money. I purchased many of the items that Baby Bargains recommended and I have to say this one was a huge huge disappointment. I have only used it once and I am going to sell it for about half what I paid for on ebay and will go out and probably buy one of the Graco strollers. I had the Snugride and the Graco Snap and go thing and will miss both of those dreadfully. I hope this helps save someone out there money.

Pros: Very Lightweight, Works great w/connection car seat, cheap
Cons: Not for outdoors, very small basket, no cushy features

We purchased the regular City Savvy (carolina sky) at babysupermarket.com for $78. In making our decision, it was either going to be this or the car seat carrier--the Combi Flash Ex which retails for $60. I figured for $18 more, might as well get an umbrella stroller out of the deal, as the car seat carrier will be useless once baby moves from her infant car seat to a convertible car seat. I discovered after I had bought the Combi Connection car seat (online, so it was un-returnable) that it was not compatible with any other strollers besides the Combi brand (I tested it out in stores) even though it's supposed to be. Originally, I was going to either get the Zippy or the Pliko P3, but the car seat does not fit in either of those strollers. That said, please do not compare the City Savvy to a full-size stroller like the Zippy, it is really only an umbrella stroller (12 lbs).

For what it is, this stroller is great. I can pull it out of the car and snap the car seat in it in seconds; likewise it folds up quickly and goes back in the car. While shopping, the stroller is narrow enough to fit through many aisles and tight spots, and maneuvers easily.

It bugs me that the basket is so small and useless and there are no cushy features like plush seating or cup holders, but having paid so little I didn't expect much. It does fine outdoors, but seems to produce a pretty bumpy ride, and I am not counting on the wheels to hold up for lots of outdoor walks. I am planning on getting an urban terrain 3-wheeler for walks, and will keep this stroller for when baby is a little older and we can use it as an umbrella stroller. If you needed to carry around a stroller (at a festival or zoo or in the city) this would work great, the carrying strap is convenient.

Overall, DO NOT get this stroller if you want a full-featured stroller like the Zippy or Pliko P3 or Quattro Tour. DO get it if you need a cheap but decent quality umbrella stroller or if you are planning on purchasing the Connection car seat.
