Cons:

I bought this stroller for my son when he was around 10 months old. I was tired of hauling the travel system stroller around in my trunk and not having room for anything else.I read lots of reviews about the Chicco C5 and decided to go ahead and get it. I found it for $89 online. My first trip to the mall was so much easier with a smaller stroller. My son enjoyed the stroller and I enjoy the extra room I have in my trunk. I would definitely recommend this stroller to anyone looking for a nice umbrella stroller.

Pros:
Lightweight, compact fold, doesn't tip over, sturdy wheels
Cons:
none

We used the Grace Snugride frame until our son was 7 months old and then he wanted to face forward and sit more upright. So, we wanted something lightweight and compacting folding and good for travel. It is comparable to the MacLaren Triumph but it is much better on several counts: the Chicco's seat is more padded, its wheels are bigger, its leg rest is adjustable and bigger, there is a window in the canopy, and it is MUCH cheaper. I got it for about $70. The handles are as high as the Mac and there is a carry handle and lock to keep in folded (although it is manual) and I believe the Mac's is automatic. The recline can be done one handed by pinching the catch and is a feature hard to find on an umbrella stroller. We use the SKip*Hop Expo diaper bag on the handles of the stroller and it doesn't tip over even when our son isn't in the stroller unlike the Mac which tips very very easily. For an umbrella stroller, which typically have non-existant storage basket underneath, the Chicco C5 has a HUGH storage area. I am able to fit my purse and my camera bag (with a Canon Rebel) in the basket.

Pros:
folds compact, easy to maneuver
Cons:
2 year old is hunched and cramped.
|
|
I paid $80 for this stroller 2 years ago and even though I love how compact and easy to steer this is, my toddler does not like it. He is hunched in because the seat back is not supportive (he is in the 50th percentile for height so he is not big) and the bars on the side seem to make him very uncomfortable. I was using a Quattro from Graco so maybe he's just used to that but even when he was one, we tried the Chicco and had to take him out because he was sliding down in the seat and hunched over. I really like the looks of this but my husband and I will probably be buying something else.
