Excellent steer, but low overall quality, June 11, 2005

Pros: Steers very well, light, nice shoulder strap
Cons: Flimsy canopy, hard to fold, inconvenient basket

I bought this stroller a year ago and decided to keep it after reading the good reviews from amazon.com. I've used it quite a bit, in Pittsburgh, New York City, San Francisco and suburban California.

Pros: * It steers wonderfully; much better than my Pliko. No problems with potholes etc. This is the best part about this stroller.

* It is very light (11lbs.) and relatively compact (although quite long/tall). I was able to carry the stroller, my 24lbs. son and a heavy backpack while riding the subway and going up and down the stairs with no problems.

* It has a nice shoulder strap.

* It seems a good choice for tall parents (it's about as tall as Pliko on its highest setting)

Cons: Most mechanisms do not work smoothly:

* It does not fold easily. Theoretically, you should be able to fold it with one hand while carrying the baby; however, I found that almost always impossible. Most often my first attempt to fold it was unsuccessful (pretty annoying if you also have to look after a toddler). Also you have to lock it with a small plastic lock which is pretty cumbersome to use.

* The canopy is terribly flimsy. The cloth tends to slide away from the two metallic pegs. I almost lost it once while I was carrying the stroller on my shoulder.

* Maybe this is specific to my stroller, but, for some reason, the buckle does not buckle unless the two parts are very finely aligned. Again, most often I had to try more than once to succeed.

* The basket is very small and hard to reach.

* The handles are not ergonomic at all.

* It is longer than other umbrella strollers and might not fit in some car trunks or might take more space than necessary (if you put it diagonally in the trunk).

Overall, I would say this stroller is worth exactly what I paid for it ($50 at BRU). I do not recommend it for people who need to fold it often. While it steers very well, I was not impressed with its overall quality.

Great lightweight stroller, but poor quality!, September 3, 2005

Pros: Lightweight, small, easy to fold, great for trips!
Cons: Poor quality, small & hard to reach basket.

I paid $49.99 at BRU and that is probably about what they are worth. They are great for trips to the zoo, supermarket, anywhere you need something lightweight, small and easy to maneuver. The quality is overall poor, the basket is small and very hard to reach. Terrible handebar designs, I feel like I am hunched over to reach them and I trip over the bar between the back wheels. Great steering and handling. Overall I would say it's better than the $15 or 20 umbrella strollers b/c it does have a canopy and basket, plus 5 pt harness.....but if you are looking for an everyday stroller to last you, then don't buy this one, invest in the real deal.

Big Disappointment, August 18, 2007

Pros: Cant think of any
Cons: Handles too low

I was very disappointed in this stroller. Did not test drive before registering for it. I kicked the wheels constantly, too close together. The handles are too low and I had to hunch over to drive it (I am 5'10"). The straps would not tighten enough to keep my daughter save. Seat part is very short so 4.5 mo old daughter could hang her feet over comfortably but could have leaned over and fell out with the loose straps. Not safe in my eyes. Basket was on the small size and hard to drive as well. It went right back for a full refund.

Very lightweight, December 28, 2006

Pros: Easy to fold, lightweight, reclines, canopy
Cons: very small basket, kick back wheels

Bought for about $60 just before a plane trip. I didn't want my Zippy to get banged up in the cargo hold, so I bought this light Chicco Capri.

It's very easy to fold. The canopy folds perfectly with it with no problems. The latch takes a bit of effort, but once you figure it out, not a big deal.

I love that it reclines, but I wish it reclined further. I love the 5-point restraint system, and this was the main reason I purchased this stroller.

The very best thing is that it is so light! I'm able to carry my 16 pound daughter and the folded up stroller in separate hands.

The steering is quite good. I like that you can lock the front wheels if needs be.

I really wish the basket was larger. It's pretty much useless except for having just enough room to store the protective stroller bag it comes with. Also, the seat isn't very deep, and the handles I feel are a little short. I sometimes kick the back wheels, and I'm not that tall - 5'6".

Better umbrella stroller for your buck, June 5, 2006

Pros: light, compact, more sturdy than other umbrella strollers
Cons: seat doesn't recline all the way

Overall, I love this stroller. It is a little different to fold up, but once you get used to it, it is no problem at all. Comes with a canopy & underneath basket (small). Canopy does fall off easily, though, when perpendicular to floor. Limited colors red & blue (I think). It is built much better than the cheaper umbrella strollers counterparts. You can actually hang a diaper bag/diaper backpack that is full of stuff around the handle bars without worry that the stroller will tip. 5 pt restrain system. Customer Service is best if you call them directly. They do not respond to emails.
