Pros:
full recline, reversible handle, good wheels
Cons:
not that easy to steer with one hand
|
|
I have the 2006 model in Cosmo and paid $255 for it with a coupon (the full price was $300). I bought this stroller because I wanted one with full recline and a reversible handle and I love both of those features. My daughter is now 4 months old and I bought it before she was born. It is important to me to have her facing me while she is young, and it may be useful sometimes when she is older. She is very comfortable in it and enjoys being able to stretch out, which she would not be able to do if I wheeled her around in her car seat. (Her infant car seat does fit in it, which is occasionally useful, but I usually just have her in the stroller.) I use the stroller in the mall, for walks around the neighborhood and for going into the city and it copes well with everything. The wheels are larger than those on many strollers, so it is fine on gravel paths and the like. The basket is big enough for my diaper bag and a few other things and it does not bother me at all to raise the seat back a little if I need to when I access it. This is not the lightest stroller, or the smallest, but it is easy to get it into the trunk of my small car and it does not take up too much room in the house. It is not that easy to steer it with one hand but I have got better at it with practice and this is not a big deal to me. My daughter likes to look at the pattern on the inside of the canopy.I have received many compliments on the look and features of this stroller and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a full recline and reversible handle.

Pros:
LOVE the reversible bar and full Recline
Cons:
Hard to lock when folded
|
|
I was nervous about buying this stroller seeing as how it's fairly new. I scoured the internet for reviews and finally decided "Why Not?" I really am happy with my purchase. It's my first stroller, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. It was easy to assemble, and unlike a lot of reviews I've seen - NO squeeky wheels here! It's beautiful to look as - I've rec'd a lot of compliments. It's easy to adjust and easy to fold. I can even fold standing up, even though it shows to fold it toward the ground. The only complaint I have is that I haven't mastered the lock when folded. But, it stays folded enough for me to throw it in the back of the car anyway!! The basket does seem kind of small - but aren't they all? I would say GO for it if you think this is the stroller for you. It would take a very very picky person to be disappointed!

Pros:
Reversible handlebar, removable fabric, stylish, functional
Cons:
A little big and bulky when it folds
|
|
I love, love, love my bumblerider flyer! When doing my research on strollers, there were so many to look at and research. The bumblerider stood out instantly for two reasons; it's style (lovely colors) and its versatility. When I went to the top of the line and looked and the buggaboo, I laughed hysterically at it, How could someone charge that much for something so silly looking (with the umbrella that doesn't shade). I am a practical shopper and I wasn't going to buy something that just looked nice. Whoever designed the Flyer really put a lot of thought into it's design for baby and for parent. First the reversible handlebar lets you see your child or the child see the world. It also sits flat so you can lay your newborn in it. If you don't feel comfortable doing that or your child feel asleep in the car seat you can just pop the car seat right on the stroller. The handle bar is adjustable for comfort, there is even a coffee/drink holder that you can attach. The fabric is removable and washable. So you can use it for your next child and if you want a different color fabric you don't have to buy a new stroller you just order new fabric. The ride is smooth, I'm tall and my feet clear the wheels. There's a little peep hole on the top so you can let baby have some sun or you can take a peek at them enjoying the ride. The design is pleasing and the function is great. Another big purchasing bonus was that I won't need to buy another stroller when my daughter gets bigger or if I have another child. The one disadvantage is that is a little big and I find myself sometimes bumping into things it is also a little bulky when folded up so its to hard to take on the bus but fits great in the trunk. The moderately high price is worth it because you only need to buy one stroller and it is high quality material and design. Overall I would not recommend any other stroller this is your best bet.

Pros:
Lightweight, Good Features, Interchangable Fabric
Cons:
Locking Mechanism (when folded), Squeeks
|
|
After spending countless hours weighing the pro’s and con’s of a number of different strollers, we finally decided on the Bumbleride Flyer (Cosmo). We purchased it from an online retailer while it was still on back order (all retailers were back ordered). We paid $299 with shipping, and the retailer included a Snuzzler for free. We recieved the stroller 5 weeks after ordering.Assembly was a snap. The directions could have been designed better, but they served their purpose. You can tell the fabric is good quality, and I really like the fact they are interchangeable with the “Rocket. The storage basket is decent size, and locking wheel mechanism is pretty slick. The handle is reversible, and the back will recline to a horizontal position, making it like a bassinet. Both the front and back wheels can swivel (to accommodate steering with the handle in front or back). The locking mechanism to stop the swivel is really easy, and can be engaged when the wheels are not straight. Once they straighten out, they automatically lock.I did notice that the wheels did squeek a little once I put it together, but a little WD-40 and that seemed to do the trick. The locking tab (when folded) is plastic, and I suspect that will be the first thing to break. Other then that, the construction is pretty good, and stroller seems a lot sturdier then some of the others we looked at in stores. We live in a North Dallas suburb, and thus drive pretty much everywhere. We also have a full size SUV and Truck, so folding to fit into a trunk wasn’t a big deal for us. The weight is less then those travel systems out there, and the Bumbleride comes with a universal car seat adapter. So far we are happy with our purchase, and will most likely look at getting the Rocket for excursions and jogging.
